The award-winning Frank Buckley Interviews features newsmakers, celebrities, technologists, entrepreneurs, authors, athletes, artists, and everyday people doing extraordinary things. In 2022, Frank Buckley Interviews was honored with a National Entertainment and Journalism Award from the Los Angeles Press Club for one of its episodes. New episodes are released every Wednesday. The TV version airs on KTLA-TV Channel 5 on weekends and is also available on YouTube and the KTLA+ app.

    Doris Kearns Goodwin is a presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize winning author. Her book "Leadership in Turbulent Times" profiles Presidents Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Lyndon B. Johnson. During this podcast, Doris discusses the human qualities that all of these presidents possessed, she reveals personal experiences she had working with President Johnson, and she explains how the title of her new book and the histories of the presidents she profiles are relevant to our times today.

He co-anchored his final Sportscenter from Los Angeles with his co-anchor of 14 years Stan Verette on June 23, 2023 amid parent company Disney's announced layoffs of 7,000 employees to cut costs.

    In his first interview since announcing his departure, Everett discusses his life and career, he reveals what it was like to work at ESPN, and he talks about his future plans.

    Joe Torre is the National Baseball Hall of Fame former manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, and other teams who managed for 29 seasons during his career in Major League Baseball. He is one of the few managers who have won four or more World Series Titles. Torre was also a nine-time All-Star as a player and the National League MVP in 1971. KTLA viewers may also remember that he was an Angels TV broadcaster for several years. He now serves as Special Assistant to the Commissioner of MLB. Joe and his wife Ali are also the founders of the Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation which provides healing services to children who've been exposed to or experienced violence.

    During this podcast, Joe Torre discusses the 2022 season of the Los Angeles Dodgers and provides his opinions on how a team that won a historic 111 games in the regular season was so easily defeated by the San Diego Padres in the National League Division Series.     Author and journalist Mark Follman details the work of psychologists, FBI agents, and others working in the field of behavioral threat assessment who are working to stop mass shootings before they happen in the book "Trigger Points: Inside the Mission to Stop Mass Shootings in America."

    During this podcast, Follman reveals the ways in which some mass shootings have been prevented. He takes us to a community that is successfully employing the lessons learned over decades of mass shootings in America to make their schools and community less susceptible to mass shootings. Follman also talks about what will be required to scale these programs across the U.S.

    Ari Shapiro is one of the hosts of NPR's award-winning afternoon newsmagazine, All Things Considred. The broadcast journalist has reported from across the globe and the U.S. and has won numerous awards including two national Edward R. Murrow awards; one for his reporting on the life and death of Breonna Taylor, and another for his coverage of the Trump Administration's asylum policies on the US-Mexico border. Shapiro is also a singer, appearing with the group Pink Martini. He debuted with Pink Martini at the Hollywood Bowl in 2009 and has since performed live at places like Carnegie Hall in New York, The Royal Albert Hall in London and L'Olympia in Paris. In 2019 he created the show Och and Oy with Tony Award winner Alan Cumming, and they continue to tour the country with it.
