Today is Valentines day, but unfortunately for most degens in the space it is mores Airdrop day with the Blur marketplace set to release their $BLUR into participants wallets during the time of this being written. The stage had a ton of speculation about where the liquid from the airdrop will end up and how much it will actually be worth. Most are hopeful that it will be a successful boost to the NFT economy.
Yesterday was the Cory Van Lew Faces of Web3 reveal day and it was received well by the community. The art is phenomenal and the PFPs are already finding their forever homes with people identifying with the different trait combinations right off the back.
We were joined by Everbloom who is creating a way to share revenue from select Youtube creators who by offering an NFT linked to said creator on their platform. there are different tiers and a giveaway if you listen in to the end of the conversation.

Today is the day the Cory Van Lew X Rug Radio "Faces of Web3" PFP collection revealed! however it was after the show, we still had celebrations on stage and big anticipation for the artistic collection to reach the masses. Macro wise we have the CPI coming tomorrow which could lead to a swing after the last payrolls number. NFT news was dominated by the superbowl ad for digidaigaku, with some fud and some hopeful, only time will tell how that plays out.

If you have been anywhere near the crypto and NFT worlds, you have heard of ordinals. Now understanding and or getting involved may be another question that many still cannot answer. Today's guest is the creator of Ordinals, Casey Roadrmor. Originally a Bitcoin developer, he gave us a walk through his professional life and led us into the world of ordinals. There were even a couple easter eggs and things to look forward to with the new tech and the assets that are stored using it. A great episode for both the ordinal curious and the student of the space.

This episode was graced with Herman Narula, CEO to improbable io. He offered his giga-brain views on the Metaverse which were actually contrary to a lot of the common views people have about the Metaverse, especially in regards to mass adoption and P2E. His efforts in bringing the Metaverse to the millions were broken down in a way that inspires hope for anybody involved in the tech and the pursuit of adoption. This is one of the best guests we have had on in regards to explaining their perspective and the path they intend to take to achieve their goals.
We also had Cryptex on to share their new index token called $JPEGz, a token that takes 10 of the top collection and allow very low cost entry points. The tech runs on Arbitrum and there is already an existing crypto index known as $TCAP. Listen back for the details.

Today Farokh, Cory Van Lew and many others involved in the Faces of Web3 drop joined us on stage today to discuss the PFP project that went live today for holders of the Rug Radio genesis nft and select groups. The first wave offered holders of the nft a chance to mint by spending 690 $RUG, the native token that is yielded daily, just by holding the genesis asset. The animus team ran by JN silva also dropped their amazing video highlighting the deep spiritual approach that Cory puts into his art and ultimately his lifestyle. Look to official accounts for the links and stay safe, there will be following wave of mints being allowed through the syndicate DAOs mint page.

Today was a big day for macro events with the non-fund payrolls coming in way above expectation at 517k vs the expected 187k. A surprising point, contrary to the latest headlines about tech layoffs. The market sold off and recovered with very little action in crypto but things are up a skosh.
There was some new innovation in the oldest cryptocurrency with BTC allowing Bitcoin-minted NFT to store an image on chain. This opens up new possibilities for a new market but the Bitcoin maxis were not happy with this as the network saw some undesired effects resulting from this.
Elon musk announced that twitter will be providing potential revenue through ads in replies. Very few details were shared but the attempt at creating a creator economy is seen as a step in the right direction.

The show opened with an extremely bullish sentiment from both of the professional traders on stage who also happen to be two of the three hosts. Contrary to what most were expecting, the Fed dropped some dovish commentary and the market reacted. At the time of the recording Mando stated he was adding risk and by the time of this summary the markets, both stocks and crypto, saw a pump.
If you want to feel good about the future of your bags this show is a must listen.
We were also joined by Aaron from the Guild of Guardians game team. He dove into the core ethics of the project and the reasons that they hope to stand out from the rest of web3 gaming and establish themselves among web2 mobile platforms.

This episode opened up with some in depth macro talk, preparing for tomorrow's FOMC meeting. OSF expects that we will see a continued Hawkish narrative come from the commentary if any at all. Although this is bearish, everyone seems to agree it will be bearish which means most of this will likely be priced in and we won't see any violent swings or sell offs.
The focus of this episode falls on Scott Lewis, who is a major contributor and leading force for Canto, a new layer 1 blockchain. There is no single founder of Canto, and so far all of the chains effort have been towards a more decentralized world starting with their community. There isn't even an official logo, only images created by leading contributors. He dove into the foundation of Canto and the reasons why someone should consider getting involved. There was also a disclaimer about the difficulty to enter the canto universe, it is there for a reason and if it seems like too much you probably aren't ready to enter.
