Jeanette is a wife, mom to 6 wonderful kids and is a former high school math teacher with over 17 years of teaching experience. She began her online journey about 6 years ago when she needed something new to learn, starting with Dreamweaver, then Blogger, then WordPress - mostly by herself. Not wanting to choose between her family and career, she used all her new skills into creating her own website, HighSchoolMathTeachers.com where she sold lesson plans to Algebra and Geometry teachers. My automated webinars are working." Veronica says, "In January, I posted a rant/rave encouraging everyone to dive into webinars. I recently had a chance to speak to Shane and Jocelyn in a podcast episode, and my action step was related to diving into automated webinars. I jumped in with Easy Webinar on Monday evening. The platform is pretty easy, it took me a day to play around with the system, re-record my webinar and set up a Facebook ad to send people to register for it. The first automated webinar ran last night, and another one ran tonight. I had six attendees and two sales from the training. I had another sale just from the ad. That's three sales on a $187 course. Basically, the software and the ad is now paid for, and the rest will be profit. If you have a webinar that is working, don't delay. Get the automated set-up pronto.

Want to know more about creating product tiers in your membership community? In this episode, we will discuss this strategy with our our Flip Your Life guest member, Joe Muench. Joe is a pharmacist who works in a hospital's intensive care unit, and has been practicing since 2000. His wife Daphne is an elementary reading teacher and supports him in his online business through brainstorming and doing all the editing. They spent the first year building their audience with their podcast, but didn't have a product yet. At the end of the first year, he wrote a book, called "A Pharmacist's Guide to Inpatient Medical Emergencies" to teach hospital pharmacists and residents what to do during a "code blue" in the hospital. On September 2016, Joe pre-sold and then launched the beta version of his critical care pharmacy academy - intended as a recurring membership site. The membership successfully launched by December 2016 and has garnered him over 90 members to date. Joe and Daphne are wanting to flip their lives by growing their online academy, so they can have the flexibility to spend more quality time with their two kids. They also want to foster the entrepreneur mindset as the children, ages 9 & 7, have expressed interest and had created websites of their own. We are super pumped to introduce you guys to Lynda & Kevin Malleck, our Flip Your Life community members and wonder couplepreneur behind the healthy lifestyle kitchen website - themalleckfamily.com Kevin & Lynda live just outside of Washington, DC in northern Virginia. They have been married for over 17 years and are the parents to a sweet teenage boy named Colin. Lynda's background originally started in education, but she later shifted her interest to business. Kevin, on the other hand, is an awesome Head Chef, who at some point even managed his own restaurant. Lynda realized that they had to reassess their current lifestyle after her sister had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. They decided that it was time to focus on living a healthier lifestyle and make wiser food choices. This was when Kevin brilliantly created delicious dishes that were way healthier than their traditional counterparts, and they soon found themselves losing weight almost effortlessly. They documented this transition and had set up a website to host their blog and sell their cookbooks. Veronica is an Educational Consultant who works with K-12 teachers. For about nine years, she has provided district and campus workshops, serving teachers through one-on-one coaching. She has also provided one-off products through her website, http://math-lesson-plans.thinkific.com, and had successfully launched her membership program August of last year. As a teacher herself, it's been her greatest goal to provide quality content, support and service in order to make a difference in the education scene. When she launched her first online course last year, she had earned $16,000. This signature course of hers is aimed to help teachers with their state test preparation. Her most recent success, an additional 70 members to her membership community, is a testament to how her strategy has enabled her to scale the business. Now, Veronica is not stopping there. On the Flipped Lifestyle podcast this week, we have the online entrepreneur behind ECHE Music, Simone Henry. Having been born to a family passionate about music, Simone grew up loving every aspect of it and used to sing in their church with her sisters. She was also fascinated with business and the internet, and went on to college and got a degree in Information Systems from business school. The Christian Jukebox was a wondrous blend of her many passions. She had gotten the idea after her sister emailed from Spain asking for help to find a recording of a song for the accompanying musicians to play during her performance. Simone did what any devoted sister would do, she scoured the internet but couldn't find a quality recording. She thought "there ought to be a place on the internet where I can get quality Christian music," and thus, The Christian Jukebox was born! This was simply the beginning. That is a great headline writing, first of all, because that totally made me click that link. I had to click it, and Nikki says, "I have 12 members!!!!" And she says, "Three paid the annual fee, the rest paid monthly." She did a soft lunch to a private Facebook group she had been running. She has now done a Zoom call with them, gave them a private tour of the site, and they were super excited. She says, "Tonight I roll off the site to a larger group. I've been running a challenge on. Michael is an Electrical Engineer by profession, but has had a huge interest in meditating, martial arts and health for most of his life. He has also been practicing his meditation for over 30 years and used to teach various practices like Tai Chi, Aikido and Jujitsu. He is married and has 2 children, whom he shares his passion with, he even managed to help his wife conquer her fear through meditation. He has been in the online space since for more than a decade and has since created a few websites. His main website, Quietmindsystem.com hosts his content that revolves around helping beginners understand the positive holistic effects of meditation on the mind and body. He has created an eBook and used to send out CDs to supplement his learners, however sales aren't coming in as they used to, so we're going to help him figure out what he can do to find his perfect niche market. "On a recent analysis of our servers issues were detected with extremely high memory usage coming from your site. With this level of traffic, you require more resources than our shared plan can provide." I have been working on increasing my organic traffic to bulk up my list for summer. It looks like my work has finally paid off. It seems some math geek Facebook trendsetters have been sharing my stuff. I need to upgrade my hosting; no more shared hosting for me. It feels awesome!
