an angel amongst us, AURORA JAMES Aug 09, 2023

Show notes

I had the pleasure of chatting with Aurora James. I just adore her!! Aurora is a creative director, founder, activist, author and so much more. We talk about starting the The Fifteen Percent Pledge, dealing with predatory loans, and discuss how she's shifted 14 billion dollars in the US economy. Aurora founded an initiative that urges retail giants to commit 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned businesses by creating clear business strategies and attainable goals.

She is SO special and I hope you enjoy our conversation!

Fitness Coach, Holistic Nutritionist and My Fav Tiktoker - Justin Kelly Jul 26, 2023

Show notes

My friend Jessica Currie sent me Justin's Tiktok one day and I was hooked. He's a very straightforward fitness coach and nutritionist who provides endless information on his social media channels, debunking or confirming various internet "trends" surrounding supplementation and work-outs. No, Justin is not a doctor, but he has years of experience healing people from the inside out. I find a lot of his tips incredibly helpful, especially surrounding various supplement brands and tips for controlling blood sugar. Check out his website below!

BEING A MOM ON THE INTERNET Jul 21, 2023

Show notes

I made a post on Instagram about what's going on in our lives, particularly with our daughter, and I thought the decision deserved more context since that's what it seems we all lack these days. I am grateful for my life and my work everyday, but sometimes enough is just enough. I feel huge relief being able to speak my peace and move on with my life. We all think we know so much about each other, and we don't know anything. I hope this episode is received with grace and continues to help all the mommas out there feel less alone. xx
