    Have you ever felt so overwhelmed by life’s responsibilities, deadlines, or struggles that you just wanted to hide away? In today’s episode, we talk about the power of abiding in God when the weight of life feels too heavy. Through moments of exhaustion, anxiety, and the demands of motherhood and work, God offers us His shelter, His strength, and His peace.The invitation to abide in Him is always open—and it’s there that we discover His sustaining power.

    Prayer: Father, please give us the desire to abide in you throughout our day, so that we can bear much fruit and be strengthened for what lies ahead.

    A Prayer for the Fullness of Joy

    Have you ever felt like joy slips through your fingers—here for a moment and gone the next?
    In today’s episode, Nicolet Bell helps us reflect on what it means to live in the fullness of joy that Jesus promises, not just glimpses of it.
    Rather than manufacturing joy through circumstances or effort, Jesus invites us to step into His presence where steadfast joy is found.

    Prayer: Jesus, please help us to stop chasing rays of sunshine, and to step out into the full light of your presence. Help us not to seek joy in our circumstances, but in your presence. Help us to teach our kids to do the same. Thank you for your steadfast and complete joy.

    A Prayer to Know the Truth

    In today’s episode, Nicolet Bell shares a simple yet powerful moment of parenting: teaching a preschooler what it really means to tell the truth. Through this conversation, we are reminded that honesty is not only vital in our relationships but also central to our walk with God.
    Just as a mother gently guides her child, God lovingly invites us to bring our whole selves before Him—nothing hidden, nothing concealed. He already knows the truth and promises that living in honesty leads to freedom. The Spirit of Truth walks with us, helping us live with integrity and teaching the next generation to do the same.

    Prayer: Lord, help me to value the truth. Remind me that you are the way, the truth, and the life and that I can come to the Father through you. Give me the courage to bring my secret sense into the light of your presence. Help us to cultivate an atmosphere of honesty within our homes and families. In Jesus name, amen.

    A Prayer for Sharing Forgiveness

    God doesn’t always lead us by the shortest route, but by the safest one.
    In today’s episode, Stacey Thacker helps us reflect on God’s faithful presence in seasons of transition and wilderness.
    We read in Exodus about how God guided the Israelites by His pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night, visible signs of His guidance and protection. Today, His light still shines—sometimes unseen by the eye but always present in the heart—pointing us toward Jesus, the Light of the World.

    Prayer: Father, You always go before me, and I am grateful for the intentional way You lead me, especially when I feel alone. I realize that the path might not be the easy way, but Your abiding presence will always be with me. In Jesus’s name, amen.

    A Prayer for Compassion

    Jesus is our Good Shepherd, but most of us don't really know all that it takes to be a shepherd. In today's episode, Nicolet Bell shares a story about a little lamb that paints a beautiful picture of how Jesus cares for each of us.Jesus not only had compassion but also acted on it, caring for every need He encountered. Today, He challenges us to look at the needs around us—with our families, children, and communities—and step into the harvest field. Compassion is not just a feeling but a call to action.

    Prayer: Jesus, Your love and compassion are endless. Help me to have a heart for other people and a willingness to get up and help them. Give me Your compassion so that I can continue to have a servant’s heart even when it’s difficult, and help me to model that for my children. Give us strength when it feels like it’s too much. In Your name, amen.

    Tara shares why praying for our children’s identity, gifts, and character is so essential, no matter their age or stage.     A Prayer for Our Children to Seek God's Glory

    God does His most stunning work in hidden places, without seeking human applause. Just as He creates unseen beauty daily, He calls us to live for His glory, not for the praise of people.
    Today's episode by Tara Cole helps us look at Jesus’ example in John 5. We see how Jesus modeled humility and pointed all glory back to the Father. This challenges us, and especially our children, to shift our focus from likes, applause, and recognition to living faithfully before an audience of One.

    In a hurried morning, frustration led to hurtful words. Does that sound familiar? In today's episode, Rachael Adams shares a vulnerable story about a hurried morning and a simple journal and five powerful words—“I’m sorry. Please forgive me.”Scripture reminds us that as followers of Christ, we are called to forgive without keeping score—just as Jesus forgave again and again, even in the midst of betrayal and pain.

    Prayer: Lord, thank you for forgiving me of all my sins. Please help me accept your forgiveness, forgive myself, and forgive those in my life who have hurt me. Produce in me a generous attitude of forgiveness toward others so we can share in your freedom. Show me if there is someone in my life whom I have hurt and give me the strength to humbly ask them for their forgiveness. In Jesus' name, amen.

    If your child is struggling to believe the truth about who they are, keep praying and keep showing up. The reminders, the verses, the songs, and the seeds you're planting are not wasted.In today's episode Tara L. Cole - writer, shares a personal story of her own wrestling with the Truth about how God sees her. As parents, we may not see immediate results when we remind our children who they are in Christ, but the verses, songs, prayers, and seeds we plant in their hearts are never wasted. With time, God uses them to grow lasting confidence and identity rooted in Him.

    A Prayer to Steward Their Gifts

    Isn't it amazing to remember that our children are God’s workmanship, created with unique gifts and talents for His glory?

    In today's episode, Tara Cole shares a story about her strawberry plants that needed care to bear good fruit. In that same way, our children need guidance and stewardship to channel their gifts well. Left untended, their talents may turn inward, but when nurtured, those same gifts can bless others and honor God.

    As parents, we are called to encourage, guide, and pray over the gifts God has placed in our children.

    Prayer: Lord, may our children know that they are your workmanship and discover the good works you have planned for them. In Jesus' name, amen.
