Today we’ve got on Matt Vincent.

Matt is a 2 time Highland Games World Champion, world traveler, founder of the brand Not Dead Yet, runs the UMSO podcast, and is an all around awesome dude. I’ve been following Matt’s journey for a few years now, and really appreciate his approach to life.

Matt is not a Dad, and he’ll be the first to tell you that he doesn’t want to be one, but I think that we can gain a ton of valuable insight from some of Matt’s philosophies around life. Matt lost his Dad suddenly to cancer, and it has played a major role in how he has shaped his life. From that experience, Matt has vowed to live his life on his terms, understanding how precious it actually is and how none of us are getting out alive.

I just absolutely love the clarity around life that Matt has and his attitude is infectious and inspires others to go out and live their dreams. And us as Fathers, should be setting that example for our kids.

On today’s episode we’ve got on Andrew Michinard.

Andrew is a partner in the company Trybe Labs.

Mike started his journey in the world of competitive powerlifting, where he worked his way up to 300 lbs and deadlift more than I can imagine. Over the next 14 months, Mike worked to lose over 100 lbs by learning how and what to eat, and becoming disciplined in the kitchen and the weight room. His journey around fitness led him to start a gym and a personal training company, and ultimately to his wife, and now 2 daughters.

Today I’ve got on Josh Brisbane.

Josh is a fighter, an entrepreneur, a surfer, and a protector... but above all, he is a

husband of 14 years to his wife Alicia and a father to his 9-year-old son, Kingston. They are the

number one reason he strives to be the best at everything he sets his mind to.

Josh has been an entrepreneur since 2011 owning multiple successful businesses. He

currently owns Savage Syndicate, and hosts the show the Savage Waterman Podcast

Savage Syndicate was created to inspire the average person to become Hard to Kill. By

creating a Tribe of like-minded Savages, he has formed a community of elite protectors who

help train, inspire, and communicate the importance of learning to protect yourself and your

Family.

Josh has recently become an Amazon Best Selling author with his book “Hard to Kill”.

The book is about the lessons Josh has learned through his life that have helped shape him into

the protector he is today.

He has been training and competing in combat sports since his 20’s and has the scars

and surgeries to prove it. When he started training his only motivation was to be better than his

opponent. His motivation now that he is well into his 40’s, is to keep his family safe and

protected from this crazy world at all costs.

Josh enjoys spending time at the beach with his family and surfing with his son.

Together they compete in Jiu-Jitsu and surfing competitions regularly. He enjoys traveling and

considers Cabo his second home.

G grew up as rapper as part of a Christian Hip Hop group named Methodical Elements. Performing all over Southern California for close to a decade. From there he went on to work for Apple as a Trainer where he publicly taught classes on music production and video editing for another 8 years before he decided to jump into entrepreneurship and start his own men’s coaching business.

Currently, G is also a part of Apogee Strong Dads, an organization run by Matt Beaudreau and Tim Kennedy that helps men improve in every area of life through mentorship from some of the best men out there. Some of our mentors include Alex Hormozi, Setema Gali, John Lovell, Stephen Mansfield and many more.

Today, G and I talk about his story; how he went from almost losing his wife, to where he is now, and the lessons learned along the way.
