A lot of people say they don’t care about the Directors Cup, but Nebraska’s ranking in it is quite telling Jan 14, 2022

Show notes

-After the Fall sports season, Nebraska sits at 13^th in the B1G and 75^th in the nation, and that’s even with a volleyball team that made it all the way to a national championship match. Ouch.

-It shows that Nebraska is essentially, right now, what we view Rutgers as typically in terms of their standing in the B1G. An embarrassment.

-You might not care about the rankings, but it’s telling about where the university stands in athletics as a whole. Will the support in attendance and following stay if things keep going like this?

Trev Alberts wants to know how to improve Memorial Stadium…what would you tell him? Jan 14, 2022

Show notes

-Surveys went out yesterday to season-ticket holders regarding what they think would help improve the experience at Memorial Stadium

-A common thing that will likely be seen in those responses is alcohol, which still seems unlikely as long as Tom Osborne is around. Would Tom still attend games if alcohol was approved while he was living?

-What else is practical in the response to the survey?
