Show notes

-How many teams can actually say it’s “win or bust”? You need to blow the whole operation up if you don’t win the championship? Such a strange thing that condemns regular season success

For everyone who says that Jerry’s World in Dallas is the greatest stadium in the world, there are some unforgivable flaws Jan 18, 2022

Show notes

-Everyone and their dog says that the Cowboys’ football stadium is amazing, yet in Sunday’s playoff game, we saw blinding light that also caused crazy shadows that prevented punts from being caught, and also one of the punts hit the massive video screen at midfield.

It kind of feels like Tom Brady is going to play until he's 50 years old / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe) Jan 17, 2022

Show notes

If you've watched the 44-year old this regular season and postseason, you'd have no idea he's 44 years old. His arm strength is still good, his decision making is strong, and he's still about as mobile as he ever was
Can you imagine the power he has of knowing he can keep playing and have records that are pretty much impossible to ever break?

Kirk Ferentz signs a contract extension through 2029 at Iowa...will Nebraska get over their woes against him? Jan 17, 2022

Show notes

You thought Kirk was close to retiring? Not so fast. Ferentz is 66 years old and this would put him at 73 years old at the completion of the contract...and 30 years as the Hawkeyes coach. 30!! In today's day and age!
Kirk and the Hawkeyes have beaten Nebraska 7 straight times. While the Huskers have turned over many staffs the past 2 decades, Iowa hasn't -- and has been far more consistent and successful
Iowas formula isn't very complicated, so it shouldn't be that hard to beat...but can Nebraska do that? Consistently?

There's a man in the NFL who has more swag then you could ever dream of having Jan 17, 2022

Show notes

Former Bills/Jets/Bucs/Dolphins/Football Team QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, fresh off a 1-year contract that he played in one game for with Washington due to injury, was seen at the Buffalo Bills game, shirtless, and cheering on the Bills. With a massive beard. Epic.

Nebrasketball was predictably terrible against Purdue on Friday, and they now host Indiana tonight Jan 17, 2022

Show notes

It was another game where Nebraska really never was in the game and lost by 20+ points, and couldn't even cover a 20 point spread. No one gave them a chance to win and they didn't show life
Tonight: Indiana in Lincoln. Nebraska played well at home against Illinois last week. Who knows what happens tonight.
