Mark Whipple said it was a bad day for the offense yesterday…did any part of the viewing for the media indicate that, too? Aug 11, 2022

Show notes

-Whipple said in his post-practice media session that the offense had a bad day, felt sorry for themselves, and didn’t come out with any juice. That happens somedays…but any concern?

-Also, Jake is wondering if Frost and Whipple are at all on the same page. Frost said last week that Casey Thompson was clearly the No. 1 starter, but Whipple said Thompson and Chubba Purdy were splitting No. 1 reps at practice. Hmmm….

-Also, Devin Drew was at practice yesterday and apparently looks the part…did Sip get any chance to see him at all in action?

A tweet from BTN's Gerry DiNardo about Maryland's talent level compared to Nebraska and other teams so far feels like a cold slap in the face Aug 10, 2022

Show notes

-The BTN Bus Tour made it's 5th stop at Maryland yesterday, and Gerry DiNardo said that of the stops they've made so far (Nebraska, Northwestern, Illinois, Rutgers), Maryland was the most talented, easily

-DiNardo said that the OL, DL and OLBs of Maryland are all more impressive than what they've seen elsewhere on the tour. Uh-oh.
