Nebrasketball keeps their hot streak going and beats Minnesota to get above .500 for the season Feb 27, 2023
    Show notes

-On Friday, before the spread of the game was public, Sip predicted Nebraska would be an 8.5 favorite---which is exactly what they were—and he said to take the Huskers to cover that, which they did in a 78-67 win over the lowly Gophers

-It was another good team performance with contributions from all over the place, and a wonderful crowd---Nebraska still is nowhere to be seen in NCAA Tournament projections but if they win 1-2 more games, they should feel great about the NIT

-Dylan Raiola was in the crowd and got lots of praise from the fans…what a scene that was for him and his father, Dominic

-Keisei Tominaga's parents flew all the way from Japan to watch their son play!

-Does Keisei Tominaga and the rest of the team perform the way they have been if Nebraska never was plagued by multiple injuries?

Russell Wilson’s new QB coach is 6 years younger than him…how hard is it to buy into a coach who is younger than you? Feb 24, 2023
    Show notes

-Davis Webb was hired yesterday as the Broncos’ new QB coach, coming off a stint as the backup QB for the Giants (backing up Daniel Jones). Webb is 28 years old and was never a main starting QB in the NFL

-Wilson is 34 years old…how does he go on trying to respect Webb? We have the same question about Garret McGuire at Nebraska as a 24-year old WRs coach.

There’s a special announcement today at 1:30pm regarding something at Nebraska…where does your imagination go for what you’d want to hear about? Feb 24, 2023
    Show notes

-The belief is that there will be an announcement made about a volleyball match played at Memorial Stadium this Fall, which would simply be awesome…how big of crowd would it draw and against who is the great question

-If that wasn’t (somehow) the news of today, what else could be announced that’s realistic? Another concert the size of Garth Brooks from 2 years ago? What would Sip, Jake, Bill and listeners want to hear for a possible announcement from UNL higher-ups? Something done in stadium renovation?
