It wasn’t pretty at all, but Nebraska gets a much needed road win at Illinois, 20-7, as they head into their bye week Oct 09, 2023

Show notes

-The defense had a huge goal line stop on the opening drive and held the Illini in check the rest of the game (outside of one long TD throw); and Nebraska needed the defense to be as good as it was

-The Husker offense had some moments, but also was horrific in the 2nd half in Illinois territory; 3 times inside the 25 yard line of the Illini resulted in a total of 3 points (other 2 drives were a fumble and missed FG)…but the team sits at 1-2 in conference play and 3-3 overall as they reach the bye week

-As much as fans were disappointed in how the game went...it’s still a 13-point win…
