As we enjoy the ‘bye’ weekend, a win next Saturday can help Matt Rhule overcome a pathetic Nebraska stat Oct 13, 2023

Show notes

-Nebraska has lost 7 of its last 9 games directly following the bye week, with the only wins being in 2016, and also last season against Indiana (when Bill took over for the defense)…a win against Northwestern can not only lead a proper start to the 2nd half of the season, but also avoid making the stat worse

-Are listeners planning on watching a bunch of college football this weekend or taking a weekend off from watching to do other stuff during the off week for Nebraska?

-Also, ROLL CALL…where are you listening from today on this Husker bye weekend?

They say there are no bad questions, but Penn State’s James Franklin might disagree with that Oct 12, 2023

Show notes

Kentucky’s Mark Stoops says Georgia ‘bought some pretty good players,’ as the highs and lows of NIL continue in college sports Oct 12, 2023

Show notes

-Stoops, on his weekly radio show appearance on Monday, was obviously frustrated with Kentucky’s 51-13 loss to Georgia on Saturday, and said the Bulldogs have obviously bought some good players

-Stoops went on to say, “you’re allowed to these days, and we could use some help, that’s what they look like when you have 85 of them…I encourage anyone who is disgruntled to pony up more”

-How do we assess this? We haven’t heard a ton of it recently from coaches but it’s not going away…
