It’s Friday, and a rare Husker football GAMEDAY….how are fans feeling about Nebraska’s chances at a road win tonight in Champaign? Oct 06, 2023

Show notes

-Nebraska enters as a 3 point underdog, and you heard Coach Busch say this week that he thinks Nebraska could not only win, but win comfortably. Considering the Illini just got beat 44-19 by an average Purdue team, why shouldn’t the Huskers feel that way?

-It comes back to not letting a team beat you twice. Nebraska players have to move past the Michigan game and not let that blowout beat them in the game that follows, tonight against Illinois

-Also, ROLL CALL….where are people listening from today on this Husker GAMEDAY!

The MLB Playoffs are going, and a broadcaster took a pretty big shot at one of the home teams for lack of attendance… Oct 05, 2023

Show notes

-Sean McDonough was on the call yesterday for Rays/Rangers in Tampa, and for the 2nd straight day, only 19,000 Rays fans showed up. It was a 3pm start time in Tampa time in the middle of the week…but still. As people residing in a state with a fervent fan base, it sucks seeing a team with minimal fans be successful…right?

-Also, Randy Gregory was cut by the Broncos just 1.25 years into a 5 year contract…yikes
