The whole story of Shedeur Sanders’ fall from possible Top 5 pick to the 5th round is fascinating all the way around, but one thing is now for sure Apr 28, 2025

Show notes

-What’s for sure, you ask? The fact that he can’t be seen as a ‘bust’ now. You can characterize first round picks who don’t pan out as busts and 2^nd round picks to a certain extent---but not a 5^th round pick. A major chip on his shoulder and nothing to lose

-But this is a player whose jersey number is retired at Colorado and who even got prank called during the draft (by who we eventually found out was the son of the Atlanta Falcons’ defensive coordinator) in what was a completely uncomfortable situation
