There were more prank calls during the NFL Draft than we originally known, and now for some—there’s a price to pay May 01, 2025

Show notes

-Abdul Carter told his agent Drew Rosenhaus that he had a prank call ahead of him going 3^rd, with someone saying he’d be going 2^nd to the Jaguars…which of course wasn’t true

-As far as the damage? With the Shedeur Sanders situation, the Falcons organization was fined $250,000 for their involvement and DC Jeff Ulbrich is fined $100,000 for the intel that his son was able to find on a private laptop. Yikes…

Penn State is seen by almost everyone as Nebraska’s toughest game on the 2025 schedule…but what’s the 2nd hardest game? May 01, 2025

Show notes

-The Nittany Lions are seen by most as a legitimate National Championship contender---rightfully so as a team that lost in the semifinals of last year’s College Football Playoff…and Nebraska plays them in November in likely frigid State College

-What’s the 2^nd hardest game for Nebraska, though? The schedule is not overly daunting, so which game scares you 2^nd most?

Are there situations where it’s OK to unretire a jersey or should that always be sacred? May 01, 2025

Show notes

-It’s interesting discussing this with what happened at Colorado with 2 players having their jerseys retired, but this is an NFL discussion---Warren Moon is allowing Cam Ward to wear his retired No. 1 jersey by the Oilers/Titans if he wants to…

-However, Lawrence Taylor declined Abdul Carter’s request to wear No. 56 for the Giants and said he’s rooting for him but prefers to keep the number retired…is either person right or wrong?
