It’s GAMEDAYYYYYY in Minneapolis…will Nebraska snap a 6-game losing streak to PJ Fleck and the Gophers or extend the pain? Oct 17, 2025

Show notes

-Nebraska enters tonight’s game (7pm, FOX) as 7.5 point favorites, as the look to become bowl-eligible by mid-October and build well beyond that…it would also be the first time the Huskers won back-to-back road games since 2006. Lots of ugly streaks on the line tonight, especially trying to get the first win vs. Minnesota since 2018

USA Today reports that Florida’s Billy Napier could be fired by as soon as this weekend….why wouldn’t they do it now? Oct 16, 2025

Show notes

USA Today reported that Napier, 2-4 on the season, is likely on the outs with the Gators as Florida AD Scott Stricklin apparently met with a handful of influential boosters on Tuesday and was told that continuing financial support depends on “a new direction within the football program”

The problem with those statements is…since you haven’t fired him yet…what if the Gators get hot and go on a run? Then what?

It’s the halfway point of the 2025 football season…is Nebraska better, worse, or about what you expected them to be? Oct 16, 2025

Show notes

Nebraska is 5-1 on the season….and it’s OK to make some midseason assessments. We can all agree that special teams has been the biggest improvement on the team and it is undeniably a factor in the team’s success this year

What about the rest of the team? Is the offense what you expected or better/worse? What about the defense?
