The B1G has won back-to-back national championships, but one national analyst compares this year’s B1G to the ACC and not the level of the SEC Nov 13, 2025

Show notes

Joey Galloway was on the “Nonstop” podcast on Monday with Kirk Herbstreit and said that the B1G and ACC are comparable this year, not the B1G and the SEC

Galloway’s major reasoning in saying it is that the bottom half of the B1G is not good at all this year…Herbstreit didn’t really agree but is it a conversation? This conference could very well have 3 straight national champions…

We’ve reached mid-November and people are just now discovering the best story in college football this year Nov 13, 2025

Show notes

Where has everyone been on UConn QB Joe Fagnano? We’ve mentioned him a little bit on the show, but even now he’s still not getting much NFL Draft praise, despite leading the Huskies to a surprising 7-3 record this year with these stats: 2,840 pass yards (2nd in the country); 25 TDs (3rd in the country); and 0 INTs. He’s also throwing at a 68.8% completion rate

Where’s the NFL Draft praise? He’s 6’4”, 225 pounds and has a good arm…where’s Mel Kiper?

It looks like Jeff Brohm is signing an extension at Louisville…just to make sure….are we 100% positive this won’t circle back to Matt Rhule at Penn State? Nov 13, 2025

Show notes

Rhule signed the extension at Nebraska and it kind of ended the chatter---but if a program wants a coach badly enough, they’ll pay whatever they need to in order to get him…right?

Who is in the conversation right now at Penn State with everyone signing extensions and saying no essentially?

Sean Callahan (Husker Online) Nov 12, 2025

Show notes

We’ve reached Nebraska’s final bye week with quite a buzz around freshman QB TJ Lateef’s performance vs. UCLA…looking back at that game, what stood out most to you from Lateef?

Matt Rhule is making a push for Emmett Johnson to be in Heisman Trophy consideration…he probably won’t get that, but can he beat out Jeremiyah Love for the Doak Walker Award or first-team All-American?

What seems like the most likely bowl game for Nebraska at this point? Is there one you personally prefer of the options?

LSU is apparently trying to (no surprise) get out of paying Brian Kelly’s entire buyout…who will prevail? Nov 12, 2025

Show notes

The moment Brian Kelly was fired, LSU was on the hook for $54 million in buyout pay through monthly payments through 2031…which to no surprise, LSU wanted to negotiate that down and pay him a larger lump sum off the bat

In a lawsuit obtained Monday by media, Kelly claims LSU had called him earlier in the day and said he had never been formally terminated as they looked for reason of cause…not a good luck for LSU. How will this end?
