Matt Rhule met with media yesterday to wrap up UCLA as Nebraska enters a bye week…what was the story of the day? Nov 11, 2025

Show notes

There were plenty of questions about TJ Lateef (no surprise there), as the freshman looked great in his first start, throwing 3 TDs with no turnovers in the 28-21 win in LA

What’s the plan for the bye week? What is the expectation for the final 2 games? More from Rhule…

Is the nation’s best team for sure in the Big Ten as the rankings indicate? Nov 10, 2025

Show notes

Ohio State remains No. 1 after a 34-10 win over Purdue, and Indiana is No. 2 after a close win vs. Penn State…but 2 other Top 10 teams in other conferences looked really good on Saturday: Texas A&M and Texas Tech. Both are title contenders…right?

If Saturday’s game was any type of indication, we might indeed be heading toward an interesting offseason at the QB position Nov 10, 2025

Show notes

TJ Lateef’s first game as a starting QB was excellent----he really didn’t look rattled at any time, and led 4 TD scoring drives, plus the impressive drive to close the game out. 13/15 passing , 205 yards, 3 TDs (no INTs or fumbles); 5 carries, 31 yards

You can’t say after one game that he’s the guy of the future---what you can say is that he goes to Penn State and wins and is a big reason why and they beat Iowa as well…then it HAS to get interesting at that spot. That’s drama that should be welcomed.

Indiana refuses to lose in another impressive show of mental toughness in a comeback win vs. Penn State Nov 10, 2025

Show notes

Indiana led Penn State, 20-7, midway through the 3rd quarter before the Nittany Lions formed a comeback and took a 24-20 lead.

Then---the Hoosiers mounted a 10 play, 80 yard drive in just 1:15 of gametime that was capped off by an unreal catch by Omar Cooper, Jr. to take the lead, and keep the Hoosiers unbeaten at 10-0.

The November woes are quieted for at least a week as Nebraska goes on the road and takes down UCLA, 28-21, thanks to great performances by Emmett Johnson and TJ Lateef Nov 10, 2025

Show notes

That felt good. Yes, things got a little uncomfortable late in the 4th quarter, but Nebraska never trailed in a game they led 28-7 and held on to win at the end…thanks to a nice offensive series to finish off the game with the lead

Emmett Johnson’s All-American portfolio grew stronger with another big game—29 rushes for 129 yards and a TD; and 3 receptions for 103 yards and 2 TDs. An incredible individual season continues on, and how about the performance of Lateef?
