Nebraska’s 7-3 record is plenty acceptable with a solid record still achievable to end the year, but looking around the country—it further proves that this still was kind of a missed opportunity of a season Nov 17, 2025

Show notes

No, this is not a negative conversation---an 8-4 or 9-3 regular season would certainly be more than acceptable by most fans’ consideration----but seeing USC at No. 16 in the country with a narrow win over Iowa after barely beating Nebraska makes you wonder ‘what if’

Seeing Michigan need a walk-off FG to beat Northwestern is another ‘what if’ about that game in Lincoln….but that’s life.

Show notes

Penn State took care of Michigan State, 28-10, to keep their bowl chances alive---now at 4-6 overall and FINALLY getting a conference win

It’s a 6pm kickoff on NBC, and as tough of a place as it is to win at night at Happy Valley---you wonder just how many Nittany Lions fans will show up for the game vs. the Huskers

It was a fairly boring day in the B1G on Saturday, but not in the SEC…what a Saturday of football in that conference Nov 17, 2025

Show notes

Some of this will be readdressed in ‘Headscratchers’…but what a win by Oklahoma vs. Alabama and an impressive blowout by Georgia of Texas

Of course…the story of the day was Texas A&M falling behind 30-3 at halftime to South Carolina and coming back to win, 31-30…just an unreal tale of 2 halves

There will be plenty of college football talk on today’s show, but the masterpiece that happened in Sioux Falls for Nebrasketball was one for the ages Nov 17, 2025

Show notes

No Nebraska football game this weekend put Husker hoops on the forefront---sorry, Bill---but a raucous crowd at the Sanford Pentagon saw an incredible shooting clinic by both teams as Nebraska beat Oklahoma, 105-99

Jake was in attendance for the game and about lost his mind 65 different times….Rienk Mast had a behind-the-back pass to Cale Jacobsen for a 3-pointer…one of 15 made by the Huskers…as fans were treated to an unbelievably fun game
