Today: We catch up with an old friend. When we interviewed Jason Craig in 2019, he was an up and coming artist with an awesome story and a really cool plan. Now, after he has become, in his words, a one-man-agency, it's probably safe to say that he exceeded his own expectations. We talk about his murals around the city, his mural camp that was an incredible hit, his worldwide work, his accolades (he doesn't love to share these so we made him talk about it all), and his vision for making Augusta a better place in his own way.

Today: Low Moves! A band with many influences and one shared Augusta story. Their style is hard to pin down but it's a cool sound that gives you flashbacks to classic 90s artists and yet somehow is also totally unique - not to mention it's the first time we've had to record a keyboard. Take a listen to their shared backgrounds, and be amazed (honestly, we were amazed) at the sound of their original music!

Today: A rebroadcast episode! We talked to Coach, the band, in December of 2020, which wasn't long after the band was actually formed. Now, they have tons of music and have played countless shows, including Augusta Rocks II. Somehow this episode was lost to our feed, so we decided to re-release it!

Today: Our friend, and fellow Young Professional of Augusta, Cole Watkins joins the show. He's the founder lead tour guide at Cole Watkins Tours. He's been in the tour business in Augusta since his time at Augusta State University - awhile, if the school name didn't give you that hint! We talk about the growing outdoor industry in Augusta, the national spotlight that Augusta / Columbia County received for promoting the kayaking spots that we have, and his day job (because he isn't busy enough) working with the world-traveling company Aggressor Adventures, which has taken him ~literally~ around the world.

Today: Davis Branch with Song Shape Studios. Davis has somewhat of a non-traditional story for DropTheDis, as he is not a local business owner that one might recognize from their signs on the street, and he does a lot of his work with clients outside the city, but he is helping to put Augusta on the map - the music map. He works with local artists like Mackenzie Blake all the way to artists in Norway, as well as a few celebrities whose names you'll likely recognize.
After Covid, Davis moved to Augusta, where Song Shape Studios, well...took shape. He currently produces incredible music from his own home.
