This week's episode is a rebroadcast. We had an episode planned and unfortunately it was a collaboration with another local show that fell through, so we give you an episode from 2020 that we thoroughly enjoyed. Coco Rubio is a centerpiece of the culture downtown, so if you enjoyed last week's episode, you will love this one.
Check out Coco's show, ALMA Presents: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/alma-presents/id1588414221
This week's interview was AWESOME and we had to post it a couple days early so that you all could hear us talk about the symphony event this weekend! This week, we talked to Coco Rubio, The Man himself! He's been doin' the thing and keeping downtown funky since before a lot of us were born. From starting his career at high school parties with Deke Copenhaver, Soul Bar to meeting James Brown to his current spot at the Miller Theater, Coco has one of the best stories we have ever heard!!
