Heartwarming Christmas Stories for Sleep: Paulina's Christmas & The Star Dec 19, 2023

Show notes

Welcome back my friend! Tonight we will drift off to a couple of "feel good" Christmas stories! The first story is called "Paulina's Christmas" and the second is "The Star". Both stories have similar themes about two sweet little girls, Paulina and Ruth, who show kindness to a stranger and then both receive an unexpected surprise at the end of the story. I hope you enjoy these heartwarming tales that inspire hope, faith and love this Holiday Season.
As always, the storytelling begins with a short relaxation to help you settle in before the story begins. At the end of the narration, the music will continue for a little while to help you drift off peacefully without waking up.
So let's get snuggly under the covers and sweet dreams!

SPECIAL HALLOWEEN EPISODE: The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe Oct 31, 2023

Show notes

Welcome to tonight's Halloween Episode where I will read 'The Tell-Tale Heart' by Edgar Allan Poe, published in 1863. This short story is related by a narrator who tries to convince the listener that he is not insane while describing the details of a murder he committed.
I know this is not my typical storytelling choice but I wanted to challenge myself and try something new. I hope you enjoy it! After you listen...perhaps you can settle in for the night with a more relaxing tale to help you drift off!
Happy Halloween my friend!
Joanne xo

Listener Note: This special spooky season episode features a classic psychological suspense mystery. Due to its eerie themes and traditional gothic plot twists, this specific tale is intended for an audience that enjoys an intense, thrilling mystery and is best suited for mature ears.
