Week 6 DraftKings 10-16-20 Oct 17, 2020

Show notes

We don't have the usual expensive, top-shelf studs available at RB this week, so there's room to spend that money elsewhere. We've got high-dollar considerations at WR and TE ... plus a potential stud RB who might less of a sure thing than we're used to at the position. QB decisions start in the $5K range this week, and we've got a minimum-priced pass-catcher who either broke through in Week 5 or is about to fool us big time.

Here's the rundown:

QB ... 3:18

RB ... 9:14

WR ... 15:42

TE ... 20:36

Flex ... 23:25

Defense ... 24:23

Check out all of Jared's cash-game picks and Tyler's tourney favorites. And build your own money-making rosters with the Lineup Generator.

Week 6 Preview 10-15-20 Oct 16, 2020

Show notes

We'll have to watch the Falcons-Vikings game to make sure it happens this week. But there seem to be plenty of QBs worth playing ahead of Matt Ryan even his game does forward. We also have huge Week 5 performances from Chase Claypool and Travis Fulgham to assess, and the question of what to do with Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Marvin Jones and the Cowboys pass-catchers, after Dak Prescott's injury.

Here's the rundown:

Chicago Bears at Carolina Panthers ... 00:54

Detroit Lions at Jacksonville Jaguars ... 3:13

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers ... 9:13

Denver Broncos at New England Patriots ... 17:54

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans ... 21:01

Week 5 FanDuel 10-9-20 Oct 10, 2020

Show notes

The expensive QBs and high-end TEs are looking good this week. We're also focused on a small group of RBs. Where can we look for WR upside to round out the lineups?

Here's the rundown:

QB ... 2:48

RB ... 8:29

WR ... 13:54

TE ... 17:47

Flex ... 21:32

Week 5 DraftKings 10-9-20 Oct 10, 2020

Show notes

Kyle Allen's promotion in Washington this week gives us a wider-than-normal QB spectrum. How does that position fit with the rest of our lineup building? Getting Dalvin Cook, Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara and Aaron Jones off the main slate cuts the number of high-priced options at RB, which might leave room elsewhere. You don't necessarily need to look up top at WR to find target certainty. And the TE slate for Week 5 just might be the strongest it has been in a while.

Here's the rundown:

QB ... 3:38

RB ... 10:57

WR ... 15:55

TE ... 22:28

Flex ... 28:08

Defense ... 30:20

Week 5 Preview 10-8-20 Oct 08, 2020

Show notes

The Titans' COVID situation sure looks like it's threatening this week's game against the Bills. We've got our 1st scheduled bye week, with the Lions and Packers down. We've got a potential breakthrough spot for Giants QB Daniel Jones -- or do we? -- against the 1st bad pass defense he will have faced this season. We've got disagreement on where to slot Eagles TE Zach Ertz for the week. And we're trying to figure out which streaming-level QBs should make your game-day roster.

Week 5 Waivers 10-6-20 Oct 07, 2020

Show notes

Had you ever heard of D'Ernest Johnson before he ran for 95 yards on the Cowboys last Sunday? Either way, he's certainly more prominent now than he was a week ago. But that doesn't mean Adam and Matt agree on how to treat him with waiver bids this week. Johnson isn't even the 1st RB we'll discuss, though, and there's a sizable list of wideouts to sort.

Here's the rundown:

FFPC weekend ... 3:26

RBs ... 7:22

WRs ... 23:37

TE/QB ... 39:21

Week 4 FanDuel 10-2-20 Oct 03, 2020

Show notes

Has Russell Wilson finally priced himself out of cash-game use? And is it time to pay down at QB in general? The RB talk starts at Alvin Kamara this week, but there are a wealth of options beyond that for the RB slots and flex use. WR presents a spectrum of options, including a couple of attractive targets in the low $5K salary range. And even TE presents enough options for varied approaches here.

Here's the rundown:

QB ... 2:38

RB ... 8:15

WR ... 12:43

TE ... 18:04

Flex ... 21:10

Defense ... 22:47

Week 4 DraftKings 10-2-20 Oct 03, 2020

Show notes

Russell Wilson, Josh Allen and other top-dollar QBs have driven a lot of high-scoring lineups to date. But are there some cheaper options to draw our attention away as the salaries keep climbing on those passers? Alvin Kamara draws primary focus at RB, but how do we build around him? And will he be so highly owned that he's a GPP fade? WR presents plenty of options, including a pair of favorites in the mid-$4,000 range that we're comfy using across contest formats.

Here's the full rundown:

QB ... 3:15

RB ... 10:24

WR ... 18:22

TE ... 26:27

Defense ... 34:24

Week 4 Preview 10-1-20 Oct 01, 2020

Show notes

No Steelers-Titans this week, but we still have 15 other games playing out. There are a lot of teams projected for a lot of points, which means a loaded week at QB. We have some sorting to do at WR and TE and some tough matchups to beware of.

Here's the rundown:

Denver Broncos at New York Jets ... 1:12

Indianapolis Colts at Chicago Bears ... 4:53

Los Angeles Chargers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers ... 7:44

Cleveland Browns at Dallas Cowboys ... 12:34

Baltimore Ravens at Washington Football Team ... 16:40

Week 4 Waivers 9-29-20 Sep 30, 2020

Show notes

There's no Mike Davis or Giants RB to control your league's waiver bidding this week, so the options are a bit more subtle. But we did have a flashy performance by the backup to one early-round RB plus a couple of young WRs who found the end zone twice apiece. This won't be the week to blow your budget on waivers. But there are options for immediate use ... or long-term upside.

Check out our Week 4 Free Agent Focus, as well as our rankings for Week 4 and the rest of the season.
