Week 9 Waiver Wire 11-3-20 Nov 04, 2020

Show notes

George Kittle might be done for the season. That raises several questions ... especially for TE-premium leagues. San Francisco also presents more RB questions this week (and beyond), as does Thursday night opponent Green Bay. Jonathan Taylor owners have a big decision to make, and there are still stash-level options at multiple positions.

Let's get to the rundown:

RB ... 1:18

WR ... 19:51

TE ... 33:48

Week 8 DraftKings 10-30-20 Oct 31, 2020

Show notes

Even though the prices jumped vs. last week, this main slate still presents more value options at RB than usual. There are also some attractive pay-down options at QB. So does that make it a week to pay up at WR and TE? And do we have our 1st double-TE week for GPP lineups in a while? Plenty of questions to answer heading into the mean of NFL Week 8.

Here's the rundown:

QB ... 4:03

RB ... 11:43

WR ... 18:29

Week 8 FanDuel 10-30-20 Oct 30, 2020

Show notes

Just like last week, we're missing a number of starting RBs. Bears WR Allen Robinson (concussion) joins Michael Thomas in leaving targets behind. Those situations will factor into our top plays this week. And some developing weather might change our lineups come Sunday. It's a more challenging slate than we found last week, when big points came from everywhere.

Here's the rundown:

QB ... 2:41

RB ... 8:38

WR ... 14:53

TE ... 20:00

Flex ... 23:40

Defense ... 25:04

Week 8 Preview 10-29-20 Oct 29, 2020

Show notes

Week 8 finds Michael Thomas, Joe Mixon and Aaron Jones likely still out, plus a number of other situations to monitor. We don't know yet who will line up in either backfield with the 49ers visit the Seahawks. Throw in some weather questions, and it's a news-packed NFL slate.

Here's the rundown:

Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers ... 00:32

Indianapolis Colts at Detroit Lions ... 5:57

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills ... 13:08

Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns ... 19:09

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers ... 27:30

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens ... 33:22

Tennessee Titans at Cincinnati Bengals ... 38:57

New York Jets at Kansas City Chiefs ... 44:41

Los Angeles Rams at Miami Dolphins ... 46:25

Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos ... 49:46

New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears ... 54:58

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks ... 58:01

Week 8 Waiver Wire 10-27-20 Oct 28, 2020

Show notes

We already knew Raheem Mostert wouldn't play in Week 7. But then Joe MIxon got ruled out. And Aaron Jones went down in practice. And Austin Hooper came down with appendicitis. And Emmanuel Sanders landed on the COVID list. It was a goofy week, with ramifications for Week 8 and beyond. Here's who you should be targeting on waivers for Week 8.

Week 7 FanDuel 10-23-20 Oct 23, 2020

Show notes

The late schedule change for this Sunday has left a 1-game difference between the main slates on FanDuel and DraftKings. But we're dealing with the same abundance of options across positions. Let's pick out some favorites at QB and see how we can fit in our favorite RB targets into the lineup. Or will Joe Mixon's injury just force us to play super-cheap Gio Bernard?

Week 7 DraftKings 10-23-20 Oct 23, 2020

Show notes

An already packed main slate added the Buccaneers and Raiders when the league shifted games because of Las Vegas' COVID situation. But it also kept Seahawks-Cardinals despite that game moving to Sunday night. That sets up perhaps the most interesting week of DFS lineup building so far this season. We see a plethora of options at most positions, but where can you find the savings to fit the studs you want?
