Best-Ball Study Hall AFC North 2-3-22 Feb 04, 2022

Show notes

Is Cincinnati's big finish to the year making Bengals too expensive in early drafting? Matt and Tod Burros (@BestballNFL) dig into that along with other AFC North questions in this 4th episode of the Best-Ball Study Hall series. How should we treat the post-Ben Roethlisberger Steelers? What should we expect from the Ravens offense with RBs coming back? Is there anything to like in Cleveland?

Best-Ball Study Hall: NFC North 2-2-22 Feb 03, 2022

Show notes

Tod Burros (@BestballNFL) and Jared spend Episode 3 of this division-by-division series talking through the NFC North. How should we approach Packers RBs -- and a bevy of other Green Bay questions -- in early best-ball fantasy football drafting? Is Justin Fields setting up as a value? Should you pass on Dalvin Cook? And how do we treat D'Andre Swift and Amon-Ra St. Brown coming off impactful fantasy seasons? Before getting to all that (and more), Tod and Jared explore the usefulness of studying player win rates.

Their run through the NFC East hits on CeeDee Lamb and Dallas' changing offensive landscape, what the risk is with Jalen Hurts right now, where the value lies among Giants WRs and what to do with Washington players in early drafting -- among other topics.

Week 18 DraftKings 1-7-21 Jan 07, 2022

Show notes

Jonathan Taylor and Cooper Kupp once again sit well above their positions in both salary and shine. But both probably can't fit in your cash lineup this week. So which is the better value? Playing either guy requires finding some low-cost upside to fill out the lineup, and Jared and Matt might have different ideas on where best to seek that savings. There's agreement on the top game for stacking, however, as well as some sleepers across positions who just might sneak in underplayed.

Week 18 Preview 1-6-21 Jan 06, 2022

Show notes

Joe Burrow has told us that the Bengals don't plan to play their key guys this week. Other teams are leaving us guessing. Can we use Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams or any other Packers starters? What about the Eagles and Cowboys? COVID has knocked out a couple more key players -- Justin Fields and Diontae Johnson -- and left us with other situations to monitor. And questions remain with who the 49ers will play at QB and RB. We're tracking injury situations, talking sleepers and assessing matchups for NFL Week 18.
