#113: Who's Next? Jan 17, 2019

Show notes

With the return of Mezza the team is back in Action as they rip into some updates this week about NRS hyping up the Mortal Kombat 11 Scene to Bandai Namco slightly dropping the ball on announcements. Not only has Mezza returned but CrashTag drops some more Evo Japan knowledge but pay outs for Japan. Static Gorilla not so happy with these random smash mods that could be a potential deterrent for old school players from moving on to a new game.
Curisoity has the team wondering if Justin Wong has left EchoFox before the going gets rough or if EchoFox left him. TPCi is on the rampage again with trying to change the name of the game for Pokken or rather the rule sets last minute. This has some people in the community not so happy. As always the Trio of fighting games find themselves wondering if there will ever be a bad mod by some of there best mod highlights.

Show notes

There's a chance for more Tekken 7 dlc in the future and Tekken X Street Fighter is 30% done!? Big Dame puts himself in the hot seat as he talks all things Soul Calibur 6. 2B officially stands for too broken as she reigns netplay. Dead or Alive has its dates pushed back to March 1st but not for any logistically reason, but to ensure we get the greatest experience.
The community might not see it that way but Big Dame has other words for that. Mortal Kombat 11 rumors from the last episode seem to have some more backing with the release of the official artwork and Sonya Blade getting a new voice actress. Evo Japan is around the corner but currently the sign ups for it aren't looking like good. What are the factors that caused it to have poor attendance? Find out on Focus Attack the pitfalls of running a major.
