The hype returns once again as the team talks about SoCal Regionals gets pretty funky and not in a smelly way. Mezza gives his ideas and thoughts on Isabelle as CrashTag gives us a crash course on some animals crossing over. Squad Strike gets introduced to Ultimate Smash and it may peak some interests. Team Ninja strikes again with a strongest edition teaser pre order. New character and some goodies that the team dives a bit into reminding them why Dead or Alive is very much alive.
NetherRealms kick it into high gear with War of the Gods : Legends!!! Namco drops the Raphael trailer and put up a poll to create a new character using custom character mode. Dragon ball powers up with Android 17 announcement and Namco Bandai hits social media. Pen7ninja found a glitch that gets mezza pretty excited to leave in the game. SnK Heroines has a bit of a set back that is soon to be fixed. Mezza beats on some Capcom consumer ploy while CrashTag is pretty accepting of this new dojo mode and costumes.
In the Randoms of The FGC 100$ Classic Playstation resurfaces, CEOtaku attendees are really high, and Jump Force gets some new characters to show off. The Double Tap team talks about SoCal Regionals and the ups and downs that followed with the security checks. Brutal Ace vs Capcom who mods better? Futaba Menat appears by KhalidAntar666.

Team Ninja really releasing a load of information and characters in their reveal trailer for Dead or Alive 6. Plus a release date sooner than expected or is it too soon? Square Enix is still dropping characters in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT as they bring us a very particular addition. Cervantes docks his ship in the Soulcalibur 6 cast once again. Bandai released that Cooler's official release date.
Blazblue Cross Tag Battle breaks the mold and buffs more than they nerf? SnK's big reveal leaves Mezza completely correct but sad as Samurai Spirits gets a trailer. In the Randoms of the Fighting Game Community. Mai Shiranui joins Terry Bogard as a new Kinetuquettes Statue. Samurai Showdown ACA NeoGeo version is on sale for PS4 & Switch. Nintendo reschedules their direct and Xkira is back to data mining more Street Fighter V. Pikachu and Eevee take both sides of the switch as a brand new switch bundle is announced.
In the Plug and Play Mezza breaks down a basic Universal user friendly Mod Kit for PS4/PS3 Brook Fighting Board. Mezza dives into Walmart Led Car Lights? In the Focus Attack a special guest that is an Asuka Specialist breaks down this new Tekken 7 patch and how it effects his play and the community.

Off the Summer Jam 12 hype train. Mezza & Static Gorilla talk about super smash bros ultimate and Nintendos direct that will reveal more information on the game. Funimation also dips their hands in the pot by hinting possibilities of Broly being in smash. Select best buys will also give access to the latest demo build of Ultimate for players to get their hands on. Tekken 7 gets an update and Mezza does not seem amused while Static Gorilla is pretty intrigued by the returning cast.
Patch notes have also been released for the mass to see and there are a ton of patches that could have you reading for days. Fighting Ex Layer Vulcano Russo and Pullum Purna are now available and they are free with a patch. Soul calibur 6 has a little leakage at Melbourne showing some snippets of Raphael and Cervantes. SNK Heroines gets another guest character. Street Fighter V has replays from battle log and Miyuki Chan data mines a bit for us.
In the Randoms of the FGC the team talks about So Cal Regional 2018 security policy, Final Round returning, Terry Bogard Kinetiquettes statue. In Plug & Play Mezza teaches a little bit about VoiceMeeter and what it can do to up your stream or allow two headsets. The Focus attack covers Summer Jam 12 and the traveling that the DoubleTap Team did there with their experiences. Mod Highlights cover SleepingMaster's masterpieces of Andybogard and Blue Mary crossing over to Street Fighter V and MastaKlo powers up Goku with this Ultra instinct remodeling.

With Static Gorilla stepping in to host this week with Mezza things have been pretty on edge as they try to lighten the mood. With the Focus Attack being a bit more on the serious side with Tournament Organizers and Security the team talks insight in the Fighters Corner. From Smash Ultimate having air dodge tech rolling to an Ultimate Limited Edition reveal.
Namco reveals Tekken 7's path for season 2 in a brilliant trailer. Dead or Alive 6's Team Ninja revisits the jiggle physics and give the people what they have been waiting for. SNK partners with Square Enix to release a brand new character named Arthur from the Square Enix world. Namco gives us an interesting edition to the story Azwel.
Dragon Ball Fighter Z meets Cooler and gets a special switch 2vs2 exclusive. Capcom goes way back with Mike from Street Fighter and makes Balrog the representative for this along with the 3.07 update patch. In the Randoms of the FGC Shovel Knight turns into a fighting game and here comes Bed Man the return of the stick format.

Sitting in on the whole show she gives CrashTag & Mezza a realization that we have a true Dragon Ball fan who knows their stuff. As always the team kicks it off with a intense FIghters Corner highlighting new updates from Dead or alive 6 character trailer releases to Tekken 7 season 2 kicking off strong on September 6th.
Fighting Ex Layer show cases more game play footage on Pullum Purna and Vulcano Rosso. Namco drops Tira as a hard Downloadable Content announcement. Then included some history but also how pre ordering Soulcalibur 6 will effect the season pass. Libra of Soul is the custom character story that has been added as well and CrashTag Clues us in on how the story will run for created characters. French Bread's UNIST finally goes live. Capcom says hello ladies with these new maid outfits. In the Randoms of the FGC Mezza talks Ninja, mango, and $50,000 on the line.
Nether Realms works on a big production game? ArcRevo World Tour kicks off in late September. Windjammers gets a new addition aka Windjammers 2 and Jump Force gets new characters and a hype trailer. On the Focus Attack the team throws some questions at uYu | Romanova and how her experience in both the cosplay and fighting game world collide. Mods get a highlight through the great vine. Fewtch kicks it off with his Infinity War Iron Man. Desal says remember Kid Goku's color scheme? Well here it is on base goku. LeanMB56 powers up base Vegeta to a base ssj Vegeta in this mod.

#94: Change Of Pace Aug 16, 2018

Now that Evo has passed the updates have slowed down and the team is feeling it as they muster up enough information to stir the pot. In The Fighters Corner Smash 4 Ultimate gets a little spooky with a possible spirit mode. Namco is given high expectations now that they have released most of their season two cast members. Mark Man says that this patch aint free. Could this be a rift between communication for Namco?
CrashTag & Mezza try to decipher the code of what could save Namco some bad press and face. Bandai & Arcsys throw a Nintendo switch Dragonball Fighter Z beta for the weekend to see how people react. UYU Cloud805 finds some glitchy damage with vegeta off assist which could make or break the game for this original Marvel vs. Capcom 3 player. BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle gets a few bugs but ends up with a quick patch 1.21 that addresses them early with the arrival of a few new characters. Capcom still continues their costumes for the weekend. In the Randoms twitter stops facebook posting, Shovel Knight digs his way into Rivals of Aether.
Yatagarasu returns with some big updates and more characters. SNK drops a 40th Anniversary Collection Limited Edition and Tag Team Frenzy Diamond Edition goodies. In the Plug and Play Mezza brings you some cool sticks and game consoles. CrashTag breaks down WitchDoctor.GG with Big Dame and talks Dead Or Alive 6 and SoulCalibur 6 for this Focus Attack. In the mod highlights MonkeyGigaBuster returns with some stone cold Sagat action. TiggieWhite joins the modders as we see a Pika Pikachu Girl Laura outfit. AutismoSupremo throws us a bone with a Yang recolor as bullet.

#93: Post Evo 2018 Wrap Up Aug 09, 2018

Evo hype is still at a high as the events that took place this past weekend are only just getting started. A bunch of new updates and some highlight moments will be talked about this episode. Crashtag returns from the fun filled weekend in Vegas as Mezza sulks a little for not being there. A lot of new updates came forth as the Evo reveals gave us dozens of stages for Smash 4 Ultimate and five new characters. Ranging from Donkey Kong Country to Castlevania.
Namco lights up the room with returning characters Anna and Lei but they have guess star Negan from "The Walking Dead" appear as well. SnK does not fall short as they announced Terry GirlGard and she hits hard. Arika announces Flex's new character Terry Bogard! Namco again with another reveal but this time for Soul Calibur 6. Astaroth and Seong Mi Na return and look very clean. Base Goku & Vegeta are here now but wait Cooler is here to give some trouble as he announced to be apart of the cast.
Arcsys gives us the awaited BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle characters Nine, Yuzuriha, Izayoi & More. Capcom takes the show with their G & sagat release/trailer and boy does the DoubleTap team feel some way about this. No randoms in the FGC or Plug and Play as the team gets a travel segment and Focus Attack from this past weekend evo. In the mod highlights we get a nice Gogeta SSJ4 surprise from Ultlma647.

#92: Beyond The Numbers Jul 26, 2018

With Evo right around the corner the Crashtag & Mezza have come to a realization that numbers may not sway in comparison to viewer base of a game as they dive into the official line up of Evolution 2018. As always they talk in the Fighters Corner about game updates that have been sparking the community. Fighter Ex Layer receiving a large sum in pot bonus at Evo 2018 and a patch 1.07 that seems to come with an arcade mode similar to what Capcom did with Street Fighter V.
Namco keeps producing the goods as the sheets are uncovered and out comes Voldo swinging into Soul Calibur 6 but with a new look. Crashtag dives into the new SC6 system mechanics on top of the reveal. Mezza has a slight change of heart when it comes to the revealing of base Goku and Vegeta trailers. Balance patch is in order for Dragon Ball Fighter Z and Crashtag & Mezza come up with some interesting theories on why buffs but not nerfs. As always summer costumes still thriving for Street Fighter V. In the Randoms Of The FGC, Microsoft hints some news on a game.
Ryu is dressed like a Power Ranger. These funny option selects on playing a specific game will have you laughing and agreeing. Last but not least KnuckleDu seems to be ghosting everyone as he gets a new sponsorship. In the Plug & Play DoubleTap team talks Limited Edition Qanba T7 sticks. Gamer Fingerz design some Micro-Switch buttons. Reddit Fight stick section seems to be actually intriguing and the Hori cross connector d-pad is innovate! Obviously where would the guys be with out a Focus Attack as they talk some big boy Evo numbers and the Sunday order. Good or bad? Leaving everyone as always with mods UltlMa647 updates the Vegeta Badman mod, HSFR.X returns with a Mario movie mod for Smash 4 and BrutalAce brings us a Chun-Li cosplay of Mai in SFV.

The team returns in full effect as Crashtag lays down some new lines for the people and Mezza sticks to his wild concepts. This time in the fighters corner they team talks about a returning game title that gets a sequel. Smash Ultimate will be playable at Evo. Cloud gets a nerf that may question even top players thoughts on playing him and 16 gigabytes must be free to install the new Smash Ultimate. Dead of Alive 6 is getting a Super Exhibition at Evo this year. Fighter Ex Layer kicks it into hyper mode with a preview of Vulcano Rosso & Pullum Purna. Arika stream will happen on Daigo's channel on the 19th/20th of July. Soul Calibur 6 was not excluded from Evo's extra side tournament/showcase.
Arc System says yes to Offline Radar events that helps the community. DRM strikes again with a crack in the Dragon Ball Fighter Z armor. Base form Goku and Vegeta seem to be real as we get actual preview pictures of their moves. ArcSystem's BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is getting backlash about the 3/5 format and 1k entrants. Under Nighte In Birth Exe Late(st) is seeing the day of light in America for a PC/Steam release. In the Randoms of the FGC NuckleDu has a new sponsor? or still looking? Hori passing out the free money and possible sponsorship at EVO. Reactions of pro fighting game players compared to Pro Athletes. Icons: Combat Arena is live and in beta.
Koihime Enbu RyoRaiRai comes storming into a NA release but as an updated version. Red Rapper has returned to the stage and is releasing and album to the community. Mezza & CrashTag answer twitter questions to help a player gain more knowledge and get better! In the Focus Attack CrashTag talks about HiFighter and their new game Footsies. As always the mods are ever progressive but this time with DBH Episode 2 creating a Vegito recolor. Tanooki128 returns with a Menat Neko Biker mod.

In the Fighters Corner they talk about the new and improved updates to Pokken Tournament DX which was way beyond expectations. SquareEnix finally releases their next mystery character Rinoa for Dissidia. Labzero never seize to amaze as they release Skullgirls 2nd Encore for the switch user base and it looks amazing. Fighting Ex Layer seems to be selling well as they reveal two new characters Vulcano Russo and Pullum Purna.
The team drops some interesting knowledge from an interview on Soul Calibur 6 and the direction of the game and the acceptance of how intriguing the game is. Static Gorilla gives you the 411 on the obtainable Street Fighter V outfits before no longer being accessible. In the Randoms of the FGC Evo Japan 2018 was announced! SonicFox is turning the other cheek towards Injustice 2. Alex Myers gives away the secret tier list that has Akuma number one. Could this new dragonball movie lead to more Dragon ball Fighter Z characters in the future?
Arbys really love to stay relevant with this Soul Calibur 6 exclusive Arby's box art. In the Plug & Play Mezza gives you the third look into Smash Fightstick, a new pair of earbuds for a low price in your local area and some items from Five Dollar Below to get you started on a cheap easy vlog kit. The Focus Attack weighs heavy on Fun over Competition as Static Gorilla and Mezza tap into their past experiences with becoming a competitive player but losing the fun aspect at times. Of course what would it be with out mods as Mastaklo drops a bomb on us with the Android 17 & 18 Super outfit versions and Bombablake13 gives us a beaten up Goku.
