    Show notes

Evo is behind us and the FGC is on it's chill season before we start up with Summer Jam 13. Though this is a diet episode, Crash makes his return with StaticGorilla to bring the latest in FGC news. Netherrealm has reminded us that there will be some more competitive variations soon, but doesn't that just bring us back to MKX standards? We get a better look at Spawn and Crash rants on that March release date. Gogeta screenshots surface to show how Arcsys is blurring the lines between the animation and the DBFZ look. Street Fighter League Season 2 drama is at an all time high. The release of the new Guilty Gear game, Tension Pulse comes back from it's hiatus to bring some great exhibitions. We hit the hot topic in the FGC:"Support your Lcoals." The boys go into the tips and tricks to creating a local and some guidance on what to do with the community's interest in mind.

    #137: EVO the Sequel? Aug 16, 2019
    Show notes

If you thought one episode would suffice for EVO 2019 this year, you'd be wrong. Crash gets tagged out as Mezza makes his way back into this week's episode with StaticGorilla. Samurai Shodown is coming in hot with Patch 1.30, and the Genjuro mains are shook. Are the overall changes to the game enough to keep the hype going? The duo give that shaman talk as their impressions of Nightwolf are live. Soul Calibur 6 gets patch 1.50, and continues it's unrelenting support. Street Fighter V gets a new challenger in an old character, Shadow Lady Extra Battle goes live and it brings nostalgic glory with it. We heard StaticGorilla's EVO story last episode, part 2 has Mezza talk everything form his 64th placement in BBTag to the overall experience Vegas had in store.

    Show notes

Evo 2019 is now behind us but Crashtag and StaticGorilla are here to give you the dirty deets in Sin City. Tradition in every EVO besides the amazing matches and unbelieveable comebacks are the announcements. Almost every game in the line-up (besides Smash) has received some fresh coats of paint. Samurai Shodown finally gets some DLC gameplay shown in the next Season 2. MK11 just had it's Kombat Kast but we're gonna sit on this one for next week to get all our Nightwolf action on his August 13th release. Leaks all over the place from Capcom didn't stop the hype of Poison, E.Honda, and new Metro City Enforcer, Lucia. StaticGorilla gives us the lowdown on his experience for EVO 2019 from the long lines, and making it out of pools and the finals.

    #135: Road to Evo 2019 Jul 26, 2019
    Show notes

The road to EVO 2019 has started. Crash and StaticGorilla have a 1on1 on what rumors, leaks, and expectations from our favorite fighting games. SNK is listening closely with a quick QoL/QoS patch for Samurai Shodown. Kombat League Season 2 has begun and the leaks show when we'll get our first try at Nightwolf DLC. GranBlue has some announcements close to EVO.
Street Fighter V has a lot to announce if it wants to get in the good graces of Crash while StaticGorilla goes onto the DLC needs of Dragonball FighterZ. EVO numbers, order, and brackets get broken down to see what games have managed to make waves in entrants and who is fighting who. Sony becomes a presenting sponsor for EVO. Does that mean we have a potential IP to look forward to or is there some support for some games we've been waiting on?
