A light episode this week but plenty of vitamin trailer nutrience for a healthy FGC podcast. This week we have some new characters that are looking to shake up the meta in their games. Static G gives us the "OK!" on Terry in Smash and how he's been perceived by the community as well as his own online ventures. The Scream Queen has finally gets her trailer. We finally get a look at Sindel and her updated moveset since MK9! The final DLC character for DBFZ's Season 2 is here, Super Broly is unleashed. Showing some brutal gameplay straight from the movie, will we get a date soon though? Last but not least is SamSho with Kazuki Kazama 's explosive gameplay is shown off and he'll be exploding into the scene within the week! Tekken gets some Patch notes and we are fresh from the SFL playoffs.

Mezza and StaticGorilla hold down the fort a while Crashtag is away. This time, the boys take a look at the upcoming DLC and speculate who will be seen in each game. We also react to the annoucement of two more characters coming to Guilty Gear. Then, Terry Bogard finally makes his debut, along with some extra perks that will reward buyers. After some distractions by Static, Mezza goes into the randoms and covers a documentary and an interview with Ono. Mezza also shows us some equiment for Plug and Play. Then, they wrap up the show with a Focus Attack, that deals with a controversial topic that will make you think.

Times like this call for some investigation on views of the fighting game community. Who will you call? Team Double Tap! Mezza & Static G are on the case this time as they talk strong points from a question of how to become the strong fighting game country and Riot's take over but not so secure for business method for the Fighting Game Community. Of course they in the Fighters Corner Blazblue Cross Tag Battle gets a hilda trailer. One Punch Man the hero nobody knows releases a few more characters. Eric Myers the Quantum Ranger joins the fight for justice in Power Rangers Battle for the Grid. Tekken has some contraversy over Frame Data and paying for it as well as shows off some new improvements to with a hint of Harada in it. Tekken UK also released a short exclusive interview with Harada and the birth of the fighting game industry in the beginning. The Randoms of the FGC has a random surprise guest even surprise the team and if you like some Dead or Alive drama you will like this.

#146: Don't You Want a Rematch? Oct 26, 2019

Crashtag, Mezza and Static have found themselves separated and must bring the show from remote locations to bring you the most recent FGC news, content and ideas since the last episode. In the fighters corner, the boys take a look at the teasers, screenshots and release dates of upcoming DLC for multiple games and await their eminent release. They also take a look at previous games to compare what new DLC will look like in the future and what to expect. Capcom seems to be at work with cosmetics and patches and the community is keeping the competition fresh and hype with some sick highlights from some events this past weekend. Next, they take a deep dive into the results of an event, a tangent that Crashtag goes on while looking for content and Mezza shares his thoughts about a mobile game. Static then shares a random story about Smash and to finish it off they go over a Mod highlight that can hopefully bring some ideas to developers in the future.

#145: Riot Rises to the FGC? Oct 18, 2019

We have another full episode of Double Tap this week. Evo Japan announces it's main game, Smash Bros. Ultimate! But on the same day of the Genesis 7? Basara is live with patch 1.30 and is already looking like a problem. GranBlue Fantasy has rounded out the base roster with Zeta and Vaseraga. We got a lancer and basically a fantasy Juggernaut to the mix. Axl Low brings his long limbs and fire to the new GG 2020 trailer. Riot becomes Riot Games as they step into the FGC world and Crash breaksdown the positives and negatives to come. This week's Focus Attack may bring a new way to brigde spectators into competitors in the scene.

The U.S. is the first team named for the Intel Open in Street Fighter V. The three amigos join back up with a grand set fighters corner information. Mezza drops a information load on Blazblue Cross Tag battle 2.0 coming to East Coast Throwdown and some thoughts on what his interactions will be with the game. CrashTag and Static G strike some nostalgia as they talk about NetherRealms newest addition Terminator. CrashTag goes indepth about the interesting concept and nuiances of Terminators play and static g's reactions are priceless. Arc system gives us a new updae on gameplay for May followed with a very distasteful appearance of a new character that no one is really to excited about. Gabe and Mezza break down DragonBall Fighter Z new addition Gogeta and this character is shocking not only the DoubleTap team but the community. Randoms of the FGC brings us Uniclr pre order, a video on donte astro's master ranked champion player. Mezza goes in on My Hero One's Justice 2 and talk sony folding into the cross play era. A community regular joins in on the Focus Attack as he asks a pretty serious question that leads the DoubleTap team to respond in a very straight forward but rather enlightning way. Of course the guys finish it off with a really awesome Gogeta mod for PC.
