Show notes

It’s a full Friday in the NBA and the DFSR crew of James Davis and Doug Norrie is here to bring you up to speed on all of the DFS implications for FanDuel and DraftKings. Things are a little weird with FanDuel offering a 4PM early only slate which includes the 7PM games as well. Other than that odd scheduling, there is plenty of value especially with the Wiz in a great matchup with the Nets. The Wiz are in a usage upgrade among their starters especially if Bradley Beal sits. Beyond that they discuss Giannis, Anthony Davis against the Knicks and Doug tilts off about how Denver uses their starters.

Then there’s injury concerns with Mike Conley and Goran Dragic which could effect lineups if they sit. They also discuss Demar Derozan, Lebron James, Kevin Love and Hassan Whiteside as other possible big money plays.

Tuesday NBA Value Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings - 12/27/16 Dec 27, 2016

Show notes

DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis break down a short, four game, NBA slate of games. It’s a somewhat rough grouping of games with teams like Memphis and the Jazz slowing things down in their games. The big decision comes from deciding who to pay up for tonight, James Harden or Russell Westbrook. The latter is likely priced out of contention in a game against Miami though Dallas isn’t a fantastic matchup for Harden. They also discuss the Jazz as solid plays against the Lakers. And finally they look at the weakest group of power forwards on FanDuel.

Show notes

DFSR crew breaks down a Tuesday slate in the NBA. The talk starts of course with the triple-double machine Russell Westbrook. Dude is such a difficult fade on any slate and the price is getting close to the breaking point. Yet you can still keep running him out there for safety in cash games. They also discuss some of the savings you get on the Golden State guys like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green who are coming off a string of slower games in the short term. Then they discuss the situation in Orlando if Vucevic doesn't play again.

Friday NBA Value Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings - 12/9/16 Dec 09, 2016

Show notes

DFSR's Doug Norrie and James Davis take a look at a full Friday in the NBA. The headlining act of course is Russell Westbrook vs. James Harden Part II. The first act didn't totally meet fantasy expectations with both players somewhat underperforming their fantasy value. Between the two, it appears Westbrook is the better play even at a higher price. They also talk about some cheaper options like Jordan Clarkson, Marcus Smart and Tyler Johnson who could all be in line for major minutes. Then there's Giannis coming in somewhat of a value play, Harrison Barnes still taking all of the shots in Dallas and what the hell is up with Hassan Whiteside.
