46 Implantology: There Is No Magic Bullet with Dr. Bill Holden : Dentistry Uncensored with Howard Farran Feb 05, 2015
    Show notes

You can spend $100k+ on a CBCT machine, send for milled surgical guides on every case and have the top of line implant systems, but in the end implantology is good old fashioned oral surgery. You have to know what you're doing.

That being said, Dr. Bill Holden states that, "a simple, flapless, cherry-picked implant case is easier than a class II composite by far." It's all about case selection and education.

But how do you start? Should you travel internationally for a hands on course? What would be an ideal site to place your first implant? Listen to this episode to learn the 'single, straight-canal endo' of implant placement. Hint: it's not in the anterior!
