    Hey Guys,

Today is Day One of the four-day decluttering habit series, and we're starting with the step that makes everything else possible: creating a clear, unavoidable cue for your daily decluttering habit.

Most people don't declutter consistently because the reminder is vague. Clutter blends into the background. So today you'll pick one hotspot in your home and set up an intentional cue that triggers the simplest possible action: remove one item.

    XO,

    Amber

    310 | Kitchen Series | Food Storage | A Guide to Decluttering Your Plastic Nov 24, 2025
    Show notes

    Hey Guys,

Today's episode is going to make decluttering your plastic containers one of the easiest wins in your kitchen. We're not doing this based on emotion or guilt β€” we're doing it based on facts, safety, and what the research actually says about old and degraded plastics.

    • Keep: #1, #2, #5 (in good condition)

    • Toss: Anything pre-2010, cloudy, scratched, warped, lidless, or mismatched

    • Avoid for heat: #1, #2, #4, #5, #7 unless labeled microwave-safe

    • Never use for heat: #3 (PVC), #6 (Styrofoam), older #7

    • To-go containers: Fine for cold storage short-term; don't microwave them and don't keep them for months

    Hey Guys,

Today's episode is all about making your freezer easier to use β€” not perfect, not Pinterest-worthy, just functional. I'm walking you through three practical strategies that help you find what you have, stop wasting money on duplicate groceries, and actually use the food you buy.

We're keeping this simple and doable. No emptying the entire freezer, no dramatic "before and after," and no pressure to be a different person by the end. These are real-world systems anyone can use.

    306 | Kitchen Minisode | Decluttering Spices Nov 20, 2025
    Show notes

    Hey Friends,

In this mini-episode, you're going to make real progress in your kitchen by decluttering your spices. If your spice drawer or cabinet is overflowing and you want a simple win today, this is it. In this episode you'll create space, cut the chaos, and actually start using your spices again because you'll know what you have and where it is.

What You'll Do Today (Just Two Steps): 1. Alphabetize your spices and remove duplicates Pull out your spices, line them up in alphabetical order, and combine any duplicates.

    2. Toss anything expired Check dates as you put them back. This alone clears a surprising amount of space.

How to Stay on Track: This isn't a full-kitchen project. Don't let it domino. Stay focused on only the spices. If you have oversized bottles that don't fit with the regular ones, keep them in their own alphabetical section. You can handle two lists.

Your Quick Action Plan: β€’ Walk into your kitchen β€’ Open your spice drawer or cabinet β€’ Alphabetize β€’ Remove duplicates β€’ Toss expired β€’ Put everything back neatly

Take a deep breath and get it done β€” it really will only take a few minutes if you stay focused.

Share Your Progress: Post a picture of your organized spices in the Facebook group. I'm posting mine too and can't wait to see yours.

Know someone who needs a little nudge in the kitchen? Share this episode with them.

    Show notes

    Hey Guys,

Today we're finishing the three-day pantry series by focusing on how to arrange and organize everything you kept. We covered:

    1. Placement How to decide what goes at eye level, what belongs down low, what needs prime reach space, and how grouping items by height improves visibility.

    2. Containers Simple tools that make a pantry functional, like lazy Susans for deep shelves, tiered risers for spices, and vertical dividers for high cabinets.

    3. Labeling When labels are helpful, when you don't need them, affordable label options, and how to use P-Touch labels or bin tags to keep systems easy to maintain.

HERE are the labels I mention in this episode.

    304 | Decluttering the Pantry Episode 2 of 3 Nov 18, 2025
    Show notes

    Hey Friends,

Today is Day 2 of your three-day pantry series, and this is the actual decluttering day. In this episode, I walk you through a simple, five-step process that makes even an overflowing pantry feel manageable. Decluttering the pantry can be a fun, relaxing, almost meditative project when you break it down into these steps.

The 5 Steps From the Episode: 1. Space Planning

If you did Day 1, your post-its are already on your shelves. If you didn't, Amber walks you through doing it quickly so you can start.

    2. Duplicate Your Post-Its

Write the same category labels again and place them on your counter, table, or floor. These become your landing zones as you pull items out.

    3. Pull Everything Out

Remove items shelf by shelf and place them under the correct duplicate post-it. Trash anything stale, open, or expired. Add new categories only if needed.

    4. Clean the Shelves

Wipe crumbs, sticky spills, and bottle drips. This takes a few minutes and makes the reset feel fresh and new.

    5. Put Everything Back

Now that everything is grouped, placing it back is fast and easy. Follow the original post-it map you planned yesterday.

November 4 - Counters and surfaces

November 7 - Dishes and drinkware

November 11 - Cookware and bakeware

    November 14 - Appliances & Utensils

    November 18 - Pantry

November 21 - Fridge and freezer

    November 25 - Junk drawers & Tupperware

November 28 - Habits and flow

If this episode helps you, share it with someone who's been feeling overwhelmed by their home. Tap the three dots, hit "share episode," and send it to them. Then follow the show so tomorrow's mini win is waiting for you.
