Show notes

And just like that we have a 'new' season of The Bachelor! For better or for worse we are now rooting for a deep voiced man who is likes football and has aspirations of being a Wife Guy (oooof that title has been ruined hasn't it?). Despite very little effort on the franchises part to make us feel any sort of connection with this man created from on of Bachelor Clues' AI generators, Date Card Pod is back to recap, theorize, talk shit, and befriend/make enemies with the 30 (now 20) women who are on the journey of a lifetime to answer the age old question: Is he hot or is he tall?

Thank you to all the besties and haters keeping this podcast going and I hope you enjoy the new podcast structure I am workshopping! Love you all! Couldn't do it without you! Rate and review and tell a friend!!

But rest assured Jenna and fellow Bachelor commentator, Shannon from Do The Roses Align, are here to break down what we know about him and his 30 women...via their charts and the silly bios ABC gave us!

S11E15 - Gaylor 101 with Cam Oct 13, 2022

Show notes

Welcome to Gaylor 101! Your crash course to that thing you keep hearing about on Tiktok.

In this 'very special episode' Jenna is joined by Cam, the host of What I Will Say podcast, to give an general overall yet decently extensive look at the Gaylor community. Which assembles around the idea and theory that Taylor Swift is not straight. Now before you write a comment calling us weird (which will be deleted and you will be blocked anyways) we invite you to just give it a listen. With an open heart and mind. Especially if you are a queer ally. None of this is that deep or scandalous, and you will find it is not much different from how many of us engage in celebrity gossip and fandoms. Like The Bachelor even.

Cam and Jenna go over the years of queer coding (that aren't related to ships), a glossary of terms and events, some of the gayest songs, and perhaps the most important part we talk about the 'why we do it' and some reasonable guidelines on how to enter this space in a healthy and respectful way.

Thank you again to Cam and make sure you're subscribed to her podcast for all the amazing analysis and takes!
