What is truly important in your life?

Now think about the things that most regularly stress or upset you. Are they on that list of what is truly important?

When you get clear on what is truly important (and what isn't), you'll realize that happiness, fulfillment and the life you want are much closer than you act like they are.

    052 - Today Is Enough Mar 10, 2017
    Show notes

Marie Curie wrote, "one never notices what has been done, one can only see what remains to be done"

Too many of us put off enjoyment, put off appreciation for where we are and what we have because we tell ourselves there is some future moment that can give us something that this moment can't.

    051 - Perfectionism & Procrastination Mar 09, 2017
    Show notes

Perfectionism and procrastination will keep you from progress. You do not need to be perfect to make progress.

In fact, you have to be willing to be imperfect – you have to be willing to fall down, to fail, in order to learn and grow.

Perfectionism is a form of procrastination.

Both keep you from doing what you CAN do NOW to make progress TODAY.

One of my clients recently shared a mantra that I think would all benefit from keeping in mind: We train on Sunday while you wait for Monday.

Stop waiting. Stop waiting until it can be perfect because it doesn't need to be.

050 - How To Silence Your Inner Critic Mar 08, 2017
    Show notes

Do you let your inner critic run the show? Do you let your thoughts dictate your actions? Thoughts are powerless ideas. The only power they have is the power you give them with the actions you take.

    049 - Regret As A Tool Mar 07, 2017
    Show notes

Regret comes up when we think about opportunities we missed, choices we didn't make, efforts we didn't put forth or talents we didn't develop. There are some regrets we can't influence – maybe words we never said to someone before they died. But three are so many regrets we accept as final even though they aren't. We close the book instead of writing another chapter. We consider the situation over instead of taking action to adjust the path. Use regret as a tool - use it to do something different right now. Break out. Take action.
