Charlie Robinson is back with us this week. We talk about a few different yet possibly related topics. I have been emphasizing for a while now that we are in an "emperor has no clothes" moment in America. More and more people are starting to see the illegitimacy of the American Empire and Regime. Their propaganda is becoming more absurd, their elites are becoming less impressive, and the writing is on the wall -- this simply won't continue much longer, and it will completely fall apart. We discuss this and have a few laughs throughout. We get into how the medical regime lied and misrepresented things in order to force more people into poor decisions. Then we get into a topic that is a bit heavier: the Deagel 2025 Forecast shows a MASSIVE decrease in the populations of many first-world countries. Why is that? Charlie compares it with rates of recent medical interventions, and the correlation is rather frightening. We aren't claiming it as certain, and in fact, we hope we are wrong. Either way, I feel that it's information you should know, and that's why he's on this episode of Counterflow.

This week, I've got Auron MacIntyre on the show to bring his refreshing and nuanced perspective on government, society, and power structures. Auron writes often about what he calls the "Total State". For decades, conservatives and right-wing folks have defended corporations and focused more on attacking the State. After 2020, many are starting to realize that there may be less of a hard line between those entities. When corporations and government are as intertwined as they are, we are dealing with the Total State. How do we deal with this, and what dangers do using the wrong tactics present for us? Is there any optimism to be found with examples like Ron DeSantis in Florida, as far as fighting the Total State? We discuss all of this and more on this week's episode of the Counterflow Podcast.

This week is Part 2 of my discussion with Father Turbo Qualls. After we finished episode 217 with Fr Turbo, he and I decided we needed to talk again ASAP, and many of you let me know that you were eager to hear him on the show again. So this week, he and I got into the topic of "powers and principalities". Many of us see evil going on in this world and understand that there are forces behind the figureheads in government and corporations, but we sometimes have a hard time understanding just what these forces are. Fr Turbo does a wonderful job of breaking down the power structures, spiritual forces, tangible forces, where the true power lies, and what it all means. What are demons? Can we see them? Are they floating around, looking for someone to overtake? Are they even real, or is it just bad wiring in the brains of some folks? This is a great deep dive into all of that.

This week, my guest Katherine Dee and I discuss a couple of the topics that she has tackled in her writings over at her Default Friend blog. We discuss what she sees as a sexual counterrevolution coming our way. Katherine writes, "If there's one drum I've been beating for a minute now, it's that I believe the pendulum with sexuality is going to swing, big time. And seriously, if you guys remember me for anything, have it be this." We dive right into that, and I think it helps bridge us to our discussion on the dark nihilism that pervades our culture and leads to these terrible mass shootings we keep seeing. The Left likes to focus on guns because they understand it won't actually do any good. The Right, in reaction to that, wants the band-aid of arming teachers and/or providing more security. When nobody wants to discuss the rot within our culture, nothing will ever be done. Where does this empty nihilism come from? Katherine believes that it is the modern American enlightenment tradition of liberalism. The Woke phenomenon has been covered on this show before, but not in the more well-rounded manner in which we cover it in this episode. Noelle and I discuss the tenets of Wokeism, but we also get into the darker, more evil aspects of it as we talk about the spiritual warfare at play here. On the surface, the folks we would call "woke" may seem like people we can laugh at and call crazy. In reality, there's more to it than that, and we get several layers deep in this discussion.

Ep. 217: It Takes Humility to Understand What's Happening, with Father Turbo Qualls Jul 13, 2022

In one of my favorite conversations ever, I had Father Turbo Qualls on the show. Fr. Turbo is the rector at St. Mary of Egypt, Serbian Orthodox Church in Kansas City, Missouri, where he lives with his wife Juliana and their 8 children. As a (now retired) tattoo artist and former member of a punk rock band, Fr. Turbo grew up in Orange County, California, in the counterculture scene. That gave him a perspective that he carried through his libertarian political views and even into his Orthodox Christian view of the world.

We discuss many topics here, and Fr. Turbo really gets into the humility it takes to not only understand what is happening to us and around us, but the humility it takes to find the real Truth, and what that means. This society is wrapped up in a shallow, materialistic nihilism that makes it easy to fall into the snares of evil. To counter that -- and it is mainstream -- it takes humility and a genuine search for Truth and love.
