Key questions answered in today's show:

    1. What do you think can really make the difference between continual failure and gaining victory over sin?

    2. What is your view on people who are narcissistic? How do you deal with them, especially if they are a family member or your husband?

    3. I'm struggling with my prayer life. I don't really pray on any sort of regular basis and I'm thinking maybe it would be good to start writing out my prayers in a prayer journal. I have a friend who does this, and even though I'm worried about formalism, I think that this might at least help me to start praying. What do you think?

    4. We have a church that is really into choruses. My family and I are more into hymns and classical songs. We do not feel worshipful when we have to sing the same phrase over and over. How do we approach people to try to get through what you are talking about, the meat of the music, the core of the doctrine, what psalms and hymns profess?

    4. Mark 14 says that Jesus' soul was sorrowful even to the point of death while he was in the garden of Gethsemane and then later on the cross it seems like Jesus really did experience suffering and pain. And I know that Isaiah 53 describes Jesus as the suffering servant, but what I'm struggling to understand is how this fits with Jesus being God?

What do I say to my friend?

    3. I still say Jesus is Lord, Savior, and God, but I would rather be in hell than in heaven. I am at that point in my life.

    4. If God is sovereign, why do we pray for his will to be done? And that being said, if he is sovereign, where does our personal choice come in? Can we make choices outside of the will of God?

    4. In our Bible study someone shared their testimony about how God saved them from addiction and a life of sin. As he spoke, he kept referring to Romans 6 and how by being obedient to God in not letting sin reign in his body he was able to find freedom. I was wondering if you guys can explain this passage and help show how it can help people who are struggling with besetting sins.
