    Show notes

What does success mean to you?
Do you know “who” you need to be to accomplish your dreams?
How do you turn your dreams into reality?

E118. Mano Guiragossian: The Powerful Combination of Content & Perspective Dec 22, 2020
    Show notes

“Your business grows to the extent that you do”
It was at that moment when we understood entrepreneurship is not just about having a successful business, cash-flow positive business. Those were things that resulted from your personal growth.
Every day you have an opportunity to shape yourself as an entrepreneur. Regardless of the challenges that you have lived, or have ahead of you, there’s always a lesson to be learned.
Our guest, Mano Guiragossian, has gone through life-changing experiences that could easily defeat the most enduring minds.
Mano migrated from one of the most dangerous countries in the world, Syria. His resolve to build his own future led him to a change of perspective; which eventually led him to the content marketing world.
Most people adopt a victim mentality when things don’t go as expected. The only way to change that is by becoming aware of your circumstances, accepting your present, and changing perspective. Mano’s journey illustrates some of the lessons he learned along the way.
From being rejected multiple times in look of an internship, to work for free for over 6 months, to finally working with Gary Vaynerchuck’s team in the Middle East. He is responsible for growing Gary’s Arabic YouTube channel from 2k subscribers to over 86k subscribers.

E117. Fitz Koehler: How To Be “Purposefully-Noisy” In Today’s World Dec 19, 2020
    Show notes

How do you stand out in a noisy world?
The answer is not pattern interrupts and marketing tricks. The answer is simple: caring about the person on the other side.
Fitz Koehler has faced breast cancer -one of the biggest challenges someone could face- and came out victorious, fist-pumping. She not only survived, but decided to keep moving forward, inspiring others, and empowering them to live their best life.
Fitz understood that she is a beacon of hope for all the runners she pushes to give their 100% at every event she speaks at. What a better way to make an impact than being noisy, sharing your message, and being radically transparent?
Being noisy has allowed her to build “Fitzness”; an incredible fitness business that helps live better and longer while making fitness understandable, attainable, and fun.
She is also the author of “My Noisy Cancer Comeback” and the founder of the Morning Mile. One of the biggest initiatives to help children have a healthy lifestyle.

E116. Lexi Ruffell: Why We All Need Marketing Choreography Dec 17, 2020
    Show notes

One of the first things entrepreneurs realize when they start diving into marketing their businesses is how overwhelming it is.
On a daily basis, you can listen to 35 different ways on “how to grow your business”. You get bombarded with tactics and strategies that promise success beyond your dreams.
Then come the tools and skills: funnels, autoresponders, advertising, copywriting...you name it. But what if there was a way of putting it all together in a way that makes sense and it looks great to the customer's eye?
That’s what Marketing Choreography does. Just like a dance, marketing choreography helps you understand the steps necessary to go from an idea to a fully-fledged marketing funnel.
Lexi Ruffell noticed there were a lot of unanswered questions after people finished the One Funnel Away Challenge and that’s why she decided to take matters into her own hand, teaching others how to put the “choreography” together.
In this conversation we talked about:

E115. Jeff Venn: Finding Your Full Potential While On A 8-Hour Workweek Dec 15, 2020
    Show notes

Most entrepreneurs start their journey with one goal in mind: freedom.
Freedom to do whatever you want with whoever you want, whenever you want.
Jeff has accomplished this after running his business for over a decade. He now invests only 8 hours per week into his business, which allows him to use the rest of the time to chase his new dreams: inspire others to stop living by other people’s scripts and expectations.
The question becomes, how do we turn our weeks into 8-hour workweeks? That’s what we talk about in this episode of Content Is Profit.
Jeff describes it as “firing yourself”. After living the typical corporate experience and then shifting to running his own business he noticed he couldn’t do it all. That’s when he learned the most valuable lesson an entrepreneur can learn: delegation.
