    Conservative Review with Daniel Horowitz

In Washington, politicians are full of half-truths and hot air. They do little more than grandstanding by spouting off talking points and spin. The Conservative Review with Daniel Horowitz is here to help you cut through the rhetoric and noise and explore the politically right way to think about the issues .

COVID Doctor Treated Thousands — Then the DOJ Prosecuted Him for Speaking Out | Dr. Ron Elfenbein 9|09|26 Sep 09, 2026
    Show notes

Dr. Ron Elfenbein treated thousands of COVID patients with monoclonal antibodies — and years later, he is still fighting a federal criminal case. Elfenbein tells me how his clinics treated more than 5,000 people with monoclonal antibodies during the pandemic. He describes how the federal government centralized distribution, how access to the treatment changed, and why he publicly challenged the government's insane decision to shut down a federal monoclonal-antibody program. A federal jury convicted Elfenbein in 2023 on five health care-fraud counts. The case was so egregious that a federal district judge subsequently entered a judgment of acquittal. However, the Biden administration appealed it, and now Ron is still on the hook for another trial even under the Trump administration. Why is the persecution continuing, and what does this tell us about weaponization once Democrats return to power? You can donate to his cause at DropTheCase.com

    Vance’s Stay-at-Home Parent Plan: Does It Solve America’s Family Crisis? 9|08|26 Sep 08, 2026
    Show notes

JD Vance’s reported plan to make federal child care funds available to certain married couples with a stay-at-home parent has sparked a debate over family policy, America’s declining birth rate, women in the workforce, and the role of government. I argue that we’re missing the broader context: Are financial incentives enough to reverse the decline in marriage, family formation, and birth rates? Also, what is actually driving the affordability crisis to begin with? The affordability crisis is driven by several factors, including federal debt, inflation, monetary policy, health care costs, and market concentration. At the same time, declining marriage and family formation are fundamentally cultural problems that cannot be solved simply through government subsidies. Too many debating this proposal fail to see the broader picture and are more concerned about clout chasing or aligning themselves with particular politicians rather than trying to solve an issue.

The Third-Party Run That Will Save Conservatives in America’s Reddest State | 9|04|26 Sep 04, 2026
    Show notes

Democrats are silently taking over the Republican Party in America's reddest states, thanks to the corruption of special interests. Teton County conservative activist Rebecca Bextel joins me to expose the uni-party playbook in Wyoming and explains why she is bypassing the GOP to run for governor on the Constitution Party ticket. Bextel explains why Eric Barlow, the official Republican nominee for governor, is really a Democrat. She points to his record on Medicaid expansion, sanctuary cities, illegal immigrant benefits, energy policy, coal, and other issues as evidence of what she describes as a leftist agenda operating under the Republican label. Here’s the amazing thing: A conservative third-party candidate can compete and easily win without simply handing the election to the official Democrat. This isn't just about Wyoming. It's about whether conservatives can continue allowing establishment Republicans to win primaries, govern like Democrats, and then demand unconditional Republican support in November. If Wyoming can be captured from within, what does that mean for the rest of America's red states?

The GOP’s Distraction Game: Republicans Campaign on Fighting While Giving Democrats Everything | 9|03|26 Sep 03, 2026
    Show notes

The Republican Party says it is fighting Democrats. But what happens when Republicans actually have the power to force meaningful change? Today, you will understand 50 years of the GOP distraction game and how Republicans use distraction, political theater, campaign rhetoric, and social media battles to hoodwink the voters into ignoring the things that actually determine policy outcomes. Instead of using must-pass legislation to force meaningful reforms, the GOP passed a budget bill yesterday with Democrat help that actually made things worse. I also explain why Republican politicians benefit politically from allowing courts to exercise enormous power. Republicans can campaign on appointing “conservative judges” while simultaneously blaming courts when their own policies are blocked. It all boils down to political theater and political outcomes.

It’s Time to Overturn Obergefell and Restore Marriage for the Sake of Children | 9|02|26 Sep 02, 2026
    Show notes

Marriage is the foundation of civilization — but what happens when the definition of marriage is separated from children, biological parenthood, and the natural family? I’m joined by Katy Faust, founder of Them Before Us, for a wide-ranging and provocative discussion about her campaign to overturn Obergefell, restore a child-centered definition of marriage, and rebuild a genuine social-conservative movement in America. Faust argues that the consequences of redefining marriage extend far beyond marriage licenses. We examine how the degeneration of marriage and parenthood have affected adoption, surrogacy, IVF, biological parents, parental rights, and the growing marketplace for children being slave-trafficked. Ultimately, the political Right cannot simply oppose individual symptoms while ignoring the underlying questions about marriage, family, sex, parenthood, and children's rights. The Right must also model the behavior.

Trump’s War on Ranchers? Foreign Beef, Data Centers & the Rural Land Grab | 9|01|26 Sep 01, 2026
    Show notes

America’s ranchers are facing a crisis that goes far beyond the price of beef in the news headlines. They are facing a multifront cultural assault on their way of life, economic viability, and ownership of land. I sit down with sixth-generation Nebraska rancher and rural broadcaster Trent Loos to expose a much bigger war on rural America — one that connects the dots involving foreign beef imports, shrinking grazing land, meatpacking consolidation, government subsidies, wind and solar development, and the explosive expansion of AI data-center rezoning in the heart of what should be beef country. Trent argues that America is rapidly losing the infrastructure needed to produce its own food while government policies increasingly make ranching and land ownership unaffordable. He also argues that the Trump administration is putting up smoke screens to placate ranchers while harming them with the policies he is actually pursuing. Also, Trent agrees with my point that data centers are not about technology. They are part of a larger battle over land use, electricity, transmission lines, easements, eminent domain, and the future of independent land ownership in rural America.

Why It May Be Better for the GOP to LOSE the 2026 Midterms | 8|31|26 Aug 31, 2026
    Show notes

What if Republicans losing the 2026 midterms is actually the only way to finally break free of the failed cycle of GOP-controlled opposition politics? The good news is that this question is only academic because Republicans are going to get crushed no matter how much the core base turns out. Today, I argue that we’ve reach the breaking point whereby we are being asked to defend a man and a party that are producing negative political and policy results while simultaneously preventing the development of a new movement. I ask the provocative question: Is it actually better for Republicans to lose — and finally force conservatives to build something new? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Trump’s Beef Betrayal: How Foreign Imports & Meatpacking Monopolies Are Crushing Ranchers | 8/28/26 Aug 28, 2026
    Show notes

American ranchers are facing a multifront assault from foreign meatpacking monopolies, elite land grabs, government-sponsored subsidies and monopolies, and politicians who put special interests first. I sit down with Joe Maxwell, farmer and president of Farm Action Fund, to expose the catastrophic reality behind recent political moves impacting the agricultural heartland. From Donald Trump’s disastrous push to import foreign beef without tariffs, to the intentional suppression of the PRIME Act and Country of Origin Labeling, the bipartisan elites are actively working to squeeze out the independent American rancher. He also warns that it’s inconceivable that the beef imports are perfectly healthy protein, given the 25% price cut in this market. However, this isn't just about the price of ground beef — it's about techno-feudalism. Wall Street, Big Tech, and foreign corporations are executing the largest land grab since the Indian Wars, attempting to consolidate American farmland for data centers, solar fields, and corporate monopolies.

The New COVID Is Here — and the Right Is Falling for It Again | 8/27/26 Aug 27, 2026
    Show notes

America is facing a new version of the COVID-era control system — and this time it is being built through mass data centers, Flock surveillance cameras, digital tracking, digital addiction, and expanded biomedical mandates. Yet thanks to Trump, the professional Right is not only on the wrong side of the issue but is scoring points for its own stated enemies. Along with updated news on data centers, Flock cameras, and vaccines, you will hear a lot of political theories on how the same online members of the Right who swore it would never allow COVID to happen again are the biggest enablers of the new version.

The SSRI Overprescribing Crisis: How One Drug Leads to Another | 8/26/26 Aug 26, 2026
    Show notes

Are Americans being overprescribed psychiatric drugs — and could the way we treat anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems actually be creating a dangerous prescribing cascade? I’m joined by psychiatrist Dr. Josef Witt-Doerring for a deep examination of America's mental illness epidemic and psychiatric drug crisis. Using the Lindsay Clancy case as a starting point, Dr. Witt-Doerring examines what happens when patients are rapidly placed on multiple psychiatric medications, experience new or worsening symptoms, and are then prescribed additional drugs to address the side effects of the original treatment. The bigger question is whether America has created a health care system that treats symptoms while ignoring the lifestyle, social, family, and economic conditions contributing to the mental health crisis. We cover the gambit of issues — from SSRIs, antidepressants, and psychiatric drugs to the underlying causes of conditions like ADHD, postpartum depression, and anxiety among women.
