Ep. 301: Reliving ‘Girls Next Door’, Leo’s Dating, On The JLo + Khloé & Lamar Ep. 4 & 5 Recap Sep 05, 2022

Show notes

*this episode was pre-recorded on 9/1*

Since there are only two episodes this week instead of three, Emma & Julie combined the Kardashian Bonus Show and the regular episode into one. They start out by discussing Holly Madison & Bridget Marquardt's podcast, 'Girls Next Level,' that sheds insight on their time living in the Playboy Mansion as Huge Hefner's girlfriend.

They then discussed Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone's breakup, as well as his rumored fling with Gigi Hadid. This somehow leads into a conversation about Tyler Cameron, and a completely fiction based Kim/Tyler scenario. Mid recording, JLo's wedding newsletter came through, which led into a reading and reaction. The Kardashian Bonus show aspect focuses on episodes 4 and 5 of Khloé and Lamar, which is primarily dominated by a conversation about Rob, and Rob and Malika.

Kardashian Bonus Show: Khloé & Lamar Season 1, Episode 3 (& More) Aug 24, 2022

Show notes

Now that season 20 of Keeping Up has ended, Emma and Julie are going back to recapping throwback episodes while they wait for what the Hulu project will be. This week was the ultimate of the ultimate, as far as OG KUWTK goes. Khloé & Lamar's whirlwind wedding was one for the absolute books. Aside from the fact that they decided to get married after knowing each other for less than a month, we also had the plot lines of a post-breakup Kim, pregnant Kourtney, infuriated Caitlyn (rightfully so), and heartbroken Rob.

The family somehow pulls off the wedding in less than two weeks (thank you Kris Jenner & Sharon Sacks), and still managed to have so much drama and chaos along the way. Perhaps the best part of this entire special was watching the genuine joy, safety and comfort that Khloé had. Emma and Julie had the best time taking a walk down memory lane.

The Kardashian recap includes Scott & Kimberly Stewart dating rumors (+ a discussion on Scott & Sofia), and the sustained confusion around Kim's Instagram giveaways.

@SophRossss tweet: https://twitter.com/SophRossss/status/1560435471645392896

News ~30:00

RHOA + RHOBH ~38:00

Emma and Isabel then get into this week's episode of Atlanta and Beverly Hills. The RHOA women are in Jamaica where tensions are still high with Marlo and Kandi, and Marlo and Drew face off in a race. RHOBH touches on a LOT of contentious relationships and topics, including Garcelle/Erika, Erika/Sutton, Rinna/Sutton, and more.

The bonus show this week is just a rundown of some of the more low stakes Kardashian stories. Emma and Julie begin with a reaction to the SKKN office tour, then get into Kylie's birthday trip and the rumored Khloé/Tristan custody news.
