Ep. 295: Kardashians Trailer Live Reaction, Doja Cat & Noah Schnapp, Monty Lopez, Kim & North in Paris, & More. Jul 11, 2022

Show notes

Kind of a bizarre episode today, topic wise. Emma and Julie begin with the Doja Cat/Noah Schnapp situation (re: Joseph Quinn) that took place over the weekend. Then, the Kardashians Season 2 trailer drops mid-recording and as you can imagine, chaos ensues. Next up is the Monty Lopez drama, with a full breakdown. Then, the rumors of Armie Hammer working as a timeshare salesman in the Cayman Islands. They explain how tomorrow's bonus show will be a full Hulu trailer / Kim's Insta breakdown - so the Kardashian recap is solely focused on Kim & North at Paris Fashion Week.

Bravo: Ultimate Girls Trip & RHOBH Recap with Ryan Bailey Jul 08, 2022

Show notes

This week, Emma is joined by Ryan Bailey, fellow Bravo enthusiast and host of the So Bad It's Good with Ryan Bailey Podcast. They first dive into RHUGT - focusing heavily on the Dorinda of it all. This naturally sparks into tangents about housewives tactics more generally, Craig & Naomie, early days OC, and more. They then get into this chaotic episode of Beverly Hills: Kyle's disappointing reaction to Sutton, Erika's highly unappealing drunken antics (and Garcelle's reaction to it), Diana's progressively confusing behavior, the future of the cast, and so much more. They end with an honest conversation on some non-Bravo related topics.

Show notes

*This episode was recorded Wednesday night, so Emma and Julie recorded a brief intro Thursday morning to debrief the Jimmy Kimmel interview.*

Emma and Julie begin by discussing the family's ABC special with Robin Roberts that aired Wednesday night. They analyze why it was different than the sit-down style interview they were anticipating. They then, naturally, discuss the photos released of Pete and North driving around Calabasas in Kim's pink Moke car (given to her by Kris for Christmas.)

Next, a conversation on Travis and Kourtney's "practice" Vegas wedding, Jack Harlow, and more.

Ep. 294: Austin Butler as Elvis, TikTok Fame, Weekend Updates, & More Jul 05, 2022

Show notes

Emma and Julie begin with a discussion of Austin Butler as Elvis - his performance, the way this will impact the trajectory of his career, the Vanessa Hudgens of it all, and more. This also tees up a discussion about Disney stars in general, and their different paths.

They then get into Michael Rubin's 4th of July White Party in The Hamptons, and follow up on the Charli/Landon conversation from last week. Then, a breakdown of the Olivia O'Brien/Pete Davidson headlines that were blown out of proportion. They end with a discussion on the false Leo/Gigi rumors, which then naturally ends in a Scott Disick analysis.

Kardashian Bonus Show: Kourtney & Kim Take NY, S1 Ep. 4 & 5 Jun 29, 2022

Show notes

We have officially entered Scott's Lord era. The first episode centers around his entrance into this new heightened commitment to fashion, and Kourtney's disapproval. We also see the BTS of Kim's debut single 'Jam (Turn It Up)' .. which leads into a discussion about how present day Kim would never go against her gut in doing a business venture like this. The second episode is more of a filler - Kourtney fed up with Scott's messiness and Kim's incorrect read on Marco's sexuality. The last episode is really the bulk of it: Khloé comes to NYC for the Dash opening, and the differences in her relationship with Kourtney and Kim are highlighted.

Ep. 293: Landon Barker & Charli D’Amelio + Young Hollywood Breakdown, Kendall & Devin, Harry Styles, & More. Jun 28, 2022

Show notes

This episode kind of turned into one giant tangent. Emma and Julie begin with an update on the Kendall Jenner / Devin Booker breakup (and potential rekindling), which then somehow leads into a conversation on Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde, and more.

They then give a breakdown of the rumored budding relationship between Landon Barker, aspiring musician and son of Travis Barker, and Charli D'Amelio, viral TikTok sensation turned mainstream celebrity. They explain the different elements that make this couple so relevant in the current young Hollywood landscape. There's then a brief conversation about Khloé on Hot Ones, as well as an update on Rhode's legal issues.
