Body Shots | Dan Donohue w/ Coastal Idiots Podcast - Episode 004 Nov 13, 2025

Show notes

In this episode of Coastal Idiots…Katherine and Shane have spent enough time together to know exactly what kinds of monsters live deep inside them — so naturally, they make Hinge profiles for their inner demons. After reflecting on their lowly love lives, they decide the only reasonable next step is to drink their feelings. It’s a tale as old as time: one too many tequila shots leads to a hairy navel shot of bourbon… and when that doesn’t solve things? It’s time to take it up a notch with a few real body shots to the ribs. To balance things out (and their blood alcohol levels), K & S get some boxing tips from their pal, hilarious comedian, podcaster and lightweight amateur Dan Donohue — because nothing screams growth like punching stuff. Finally, the whole gang heads back to the studio to take calls about that classic dilemma: when someone’s glaring red flag is weirdly your favorite shade of green. Ding ding ding! This episode’s a knockout. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Coastal Idiots is a weekly comedy podcast where each week your host Shane and Katherine are joined by a friend or two where they do something very stupid and hilarious. Financial Ball Pit Fall w/ Quintina & Caroline Craighead | Coastal Idiots Podcast - Episode 003 Nov 06, 2025

Show notes

In this episode of Coastal Idiots, Shane and Katherine… are bad with money! They love to spend it and hate to save it. So why are they doing a tax episode inside a ball pit while Shane gets a manicure? Because everything fun is a write-off! Special thanks to LA’s most talented mobile manicurist, Quintina from Healthy Healing Hands. She tackled Shane’s goblin claws with a smile and a camera-ready attitude. It’s always tax season for Shane and Katherine since they’re perpetually filing extensions. So, we decided to get some expert advice on how to cheat the system — I mean, get away with it — I mean, act like a billionaire — I mean… wink wink, skirt skirt. That’s why we brought in tax expert Caroline Craighead.

The gang takes turns asking Caroline how to write off spray tans, “charity” trips, and tickets to tour Alcatraz. We also take calls from listeners about their nightmare tax stories — all while fondling each other beneath a pit full of children’s plastic toy balls.

Good Mourning w/ Jeremiah Watkins | Coastal Idiots Podcast - Episode 002 Oct 30, 2025

Show notes

In this episode of Coastal Idiots…Katherine and Shane partake in the centuries-long tradition of wishing acquaintances a happy Facebook birthday! They stroll down memory lane to drum up tales from the early years of comedy and college hookups, all in an effort to craft a heartfelt message on the Facebook wall of someone they haven’t spoken to in years. Naturally, this stirs up some longing for their mothers, who have both passed away — so the gang calls none other than Zolton, the podcast medium! Katherine and Shane take turns asking Zolton if their mothers are proud of them… and quickly learn that some answers are better left unspoken. Then, they’re joined by their good friend and hilariously talented comedian, Jeremiah Watkins. The crew relives their first experiences with death and listens to voicemails about others’ unforgettable funeral moments. A great episode to remind us all to live, laugh, like, and subscribe!
