Joe Kudla - Founder + CEO of Vuori Clothing Jun 17, 2019
    Show notes

Joe and I go back a long ways and I have seen him launch his clothing company Vuori, fold it and then re-imagine it and go full out to create one of the fastest growing active apparel brands in the USA! We talk about the low that brought him to yoga, his two prior apparel businesses failing, how he forced himself to face the fear of rejection early on and how his failures were great learning experiences. I love Joe’s passion, honesty, integrity and how a major part of building and sustaining his successful clothing brand is Vuori’s value based culture.

Formally a Division 1 Soccer Athlete at Michigan State University, he discovered a new passion and competitive edge in performing. Jason Mraz singer, songwriter, philanthropist, yogi, farmer Part 1 May 03, 2019
    Show notes

Jason Mraz is a Grammy Award winning singer songwriter, avocado and coffee farmer who I have worked on and off with for over a decade.. We start off exploring the quote “Choose a job you love, and never work a day in your life.” Then get into the many jobs he chose and how intentional he was in making his career be music and his journey to “making it”. We also talk yes vs. no, astrology, about when and why he saw he wanted to live a healthier lifestyle and get cut off by his cat joining us at the perfect time to take a pause and resume the conversation in the next episode!

A couple of my favorite moments are when we talk about what work is in general and how we all do work that helps people whether you are a cashier, coach, or singer. I also love really loved Jason’s love of the idea of “It’s none of my business what you think of me” and sharing how I view judgement and the fear of it and his beginner tattoo and the reasoning behind it.

There is so much good stuff in this conversation! If you enjoy, I invite you to subscribe, rate it, and share!

Episode 1 Behind the Scenes of starting this podcast! May 03, 2019
    Show notes

In this very first episode I take you behind the scenes, meaning into my mind, about what came up for me in committing to finally launching my own podcast!

You see, I always (since at least 2014) knew I would have my own podcast but first I had two kids and other priorities. So how did I get out of my own way and start recording these awesome conversations when I didn’t even have a title or know what I was doing?

Listen in to see how I worked through the fears and doubts that came up for me in getting this podcast going!
