    Chiro Hustle

Chiro Hustle Podcast is a business, mindset, and marketing podcast for chiropractors who want more—from their practices, their profession, and themselves.

Hosted by James Chester and produced by Luke Millett, Chiro Hustle delivers real conversations with chiropractors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders who are actively building successful, principled practices. This is not theory or recycled advice. It’s practical insight from people who have done the work and continue to push chiropractic forward.

Each episode explores what it actually takes to succeed in today’s chiropractic landscape—practice growth, branding, leadership, systems, patient communication, and personal development. Just as important, Chiro Hustle tackles the mindset behind success: discipline, consistency, accountability, and the willingness to stand for chiropractic without apology.

The podcast respects chiropractic’s roots while addressing modern business realities. Whether you’re straight, mixer, cash-based, insurance-based, or somewhere in between, the mission is the same: help chiropractors build influence, impact, and long-term sustainability without compromising their values.

Guests share their wins, failures, and lessons learned—openly and honestly—so listeners can avoid common pitfalls and accelerate their own growth. Students, associates, and seasoned doctors alike will find perspective, motivation, and actionable ideas they can apply immediately.

Chiro Hustle is more than a podcast. It’s a mindset and a movement—encouraging chiropractors to take ownership of their outcomes, lead with integrity, and hustle with purpose.

If you’re serious about chiropractic and committed to building a practice that reflects your values and vision, this podcast is for you.

    Welcome to Chiro Hustle.

The Ultimate Adventure Leads to Chiropractic Lifestyle with Charlie Engle - Chiro Hustle Podcast 459 May 25, 2023
    Show notes

Charlie Engle is a global ultra-endurance athlete and founder of the 5.8 Global Adventure Series, one of the most ambitious expeditions in modern history, trekking from the lowest to the highest points on all seven continents. He is also one of the most accomplished ultramarathon runners in the world, completing hundreds of races around the world.

His incredible determination and athletic ability were profiled in the film, Running the Sahara, produced and narrated by Matt Damon. The documentary highlighted his historic, record-setting journey across the world’s largest desert, running nearly two marathons a day for 111 consecutive days, for a total of more than 4,500 miles. Charlie’s transcontinental run through deep sand and politically unstable countries remains one of the premier accomplishments in the ultra-endurance and adventure sports worlds. After crossing the Sahara and seeing the global water crisis firsthand, Charlie teamed up with Matt Damon to raise $6M and create H20 Africa, which later became the global humanitarian organization, Water.org.

Charlie’s memoir, Running Man, (Simon & Schuster) became a bestseller shortly after it was published in 2016. While the book details his inspiring life story, it’s about more than just running. It’s about facing demons, overcoming impossible odds, keeping your sense of humor, and discovering the redemptive power of putting one foot in front of the other, even when you feel like you can’t keep going.

His motivation to run and tackle extreme adventures stems from his battle with addiction to drugs and alcohol. Charlie has been in recovery since July 23, 1992, and he credits a large part of his recovery to the purposeful devotion and emotional release he experiences while running.

He was also helped by thousands of recovery meetings and other traditional therapies. Charlie practices yoga and meditation, therapeutic breathwork, and uses other cutting-edge treatments like cryotherapy, infrared therapy, and hyperbaric therapy to stay sharp and healthy. He’s also been a plant-based athlete for over 20 years.

Charlie is a dynamic speaker who has enthralled audiences around the world, from keynotes at the Boston Marathon and Google to the National Geographic Society, NATO, the United Nations, and the deck of a nuclear-class U.S. Naval aircraft carrier. He is also a featured presenter on Tony Robbins Power of Success Tour.

He’s been featured in the New York Times, National Geographic Weekend, Outside, Runner’s World, NPR’s All Things Considered, Men’s Journal, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as numerous podcasts and books. He lives with his wife, Astacianna Hatcher, in Durham, North Carolina.

As a young adult, Dr. Chris suffered frequent migraine headaches, low back pain, stomach pains, and numbness in his left hand that interfered with daily activities. After several medications had failed, he finally saw a Chiropractor. After a couple months of Chiropractic care, his migraine headaches and stomach pains became a thing of the past. This is where he began to understand the BIG IDEA OF CHIROPRACTIC…that the human body is a self-healing and regulating organism and that regular chiropractic care helps facilitate healing. In 1998, with a desire to serve others, Dr. Chris began his studies at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Chris received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2005 from Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
