Joe Goodkin, founder/songwriter of Paper Arrows came back into the studio to turn me on to the new songs that are a part of Paper Arrow's new album. Joe's poetic verses turned into songs are such a joy to listen to. This solo performance is a wonderful way to hear the new songs prior to their recorded version by the band. Phil Circle joined Michael Vez and myself to record his final show as a Chicagoian as he and his lovely lady Megan are moving to Austin Texas. Phil and I have known each other for a few years now, but it seems like we have known each other for all our lives. Phil is a brilliant singer/songwriter that has been on stage here in Chicago for over a decade. He will be sorely missed and get ready Austin for Phil will be singing his heart out for you very soon. Tonight we are all going to Quenchers Saloon 2401 N. Western Ave., Chicago, IL to join Phil and a bunch of his friends for a night of music and some libations. There will be many guest musicians on stage and it will be a memorable evening. Come join us and let's celebrate the Music of Phil Circle. The show starts at 9 PM.

Angi Ma joined Christine Knodle and I last year for an afternoon of joyful music. Angi, from Seattle, graduate of Lake Forest College, and self proclaimed "small little girl" is actually a giant woman of great talent as you will hear during this show. Angi sounds like a cabaret singer, a Forties torch singer, and then and inspired Seventies singer/songwriter. This creative Woman is quite simply mesmerizing. Greg Combs came in mid show and was so impressed that he was at a loss for words which is amazing for Greg.
