    Celeste The Therapist

Shifting the way you think starts here.

Celeste the Therapist is a mental health and emotional wellness podcast created to support you in real, everyday life — not just when you’re in crisis, but as a daily practice of awareness, regulation, and intentional living.

Hosted by licensed mental health counselor Celeste Viciere, LMHC, the podcast offers grounded conversations and therapeutic insights to help you better understand yourself, your patterns, and your emotional world.

    The Daily Shift

At the heart of the podcast is The Daily Shift — a short, daily ritual designed to help you pause, regulate, and reconnect with yourself, even on your busiest days. Each episode offers one simple perspective to support emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, and small shifts that create lasting change.

You don’t need to listen perfectly.
You don’t need to listen every day.
The ritual is here when you need a moment to come back to yourself.

    Long-Form Episodes

In addition to The Daily Shift, the podcast features longer conversations exploring mental health, relationships, childhood experiences, emotional growth, and healing — all through an accessible, therapist-led lens.

This podcast is not about quick fixes or surface-level advice.
It’s about creating space, building insight, and learning how to meet yourself with honesty and compassion.

If you’re looking for a podcast that feels supportive, grounding, and human — you’re in the right place.

Ep 545 Why You Keep Choosing the Wrong Person Jul 28, 2026
    Show notes

Different person, same story. If you've ever looked up and thought "how did I end up here again" — this episode is for you. Celeste breaks down the real reason so many people keep choosing partners who aren't right for them, and it has nothing to do with bad luck or poor judgment.

It starts with what you learned about love before you ever chose a romantic partner. Your nervous system is running patterns you didn't consciously create — and until you understand them, you'll keep repeating them with a different face.

This is one of the most important conversations in the Shift Community and Celeste is not holding back.

    Topics covered:

    • Why familiarity gets mistaken for chemistry
    • How your first love template shapes every relationship after
    • The specific patterns that keep showing up
    • Why knowing your pattern isn't enough to break it
    • What it actually takes to start choosing differently

Daily Shift 185: The relationship between self worth and the people you tolerate Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

The people you allow to stay close to you say a lot about how you see yourself. Not as a judgment — as an invitation to get honest. Because when your self worth is low you tend to tolerate things you shouldn't. You accept less than you deserve. You stay in situations that cost you because some part of you believes that's all you're worth. In today's episode, Celeste connects self worth directly to the quality of relationships and dynamics you've been accepting in your life.

If you've been tolerating treatment that doesn't match your worth, this one is going to be an honest mirror.

Today's shift: Look at the people closest to you and ask honestly — does how they treat me match how I deserve to be treated?

Daily Shift 184: Stop waiting to feel worthy before you start living fully Jul 16, 2026
    Show notes

Waiting to feel worthy before you fully show up for your life is one of the most common and most costly patterns Celeste sees. Because the feeling of worthiness doesn't arrive before the living — it arrives because of it. In today's episode, Celeste challenges the idea that you need to feel ready, healed, or worthy enough before you deserve to inhabit your own life completely. The life you've been waiting to live is available right now. Not later. Now.

If you've been living at half capacity waiting for the green light, this one is it.

Today's shift: Do one thing today that the worthy version of you would do — before you feel worthy enough to do it.

    EP 544 Why You're Exhausted But Can't Rest Jul 14, 2026
    Show notes

You're exhausted. But the moment you sit down, the guilt kicks in — or your brain won't stop — or you find something else to do. Sound familiar? In this episode Celeste breaks down why so many people are running on empty but still can't allow themselves to truly rest.

This isn't about time management. It's about what chronic stress, survival mode, and years of having to be "on" does to your nervous system — and why rest starts to feel unsafe, unfamiliar, and even threatening when you've been wired for busyness for so long.

If you've ever been exhausted and still couldn't stop, this episode is going to explain exactly what's happening in your body — and what to do about it.

    Topics covered:

    • Why busyness becomes your nervous system's baseline
    • How childhood environments shape your relationship with rest
    • What's actually happening in your body when you can't slow down
    • Why exhaustion and insomnia often go hand in hand
    • Practical ways to teach your nervous system that stillness is safe

Daily Shift 183: You don't have to shrink to be acceptable Jul 10, 2026
    Show notes

So many people have learned to make themselves smaller — quieter, less opinionated, less visible, less themselves — in order to be accepted by the people around them. In today's episode, Celeste talks about the shrinking habit. Where it comes from, what it costs, and why the version of you that fits perfectly into every room by making yourself smaller is not actually you at all.

If you've been dimming yourself down to make others comfortable, this one is going to give you permission to take up your full space.

Today's shift: Notice one moment today where you start to shrink — and choose to take up your full space instead.

Daily Shift 182: Worthiness is not a reward for getting it right Jul 07, 2026
    Show notes

So many people are living their lives as if worthiness is something they'll receive once they finally get it together. Once they lose the weight. Once they fix the relationship. Once they hit the goal. Once they become the person they think they're supposed to be. In today's episode, Celeste dismantles the idea that worthiness is something you arrive at after enough effort — and makes the case that worthiness was never a destination in the first place.

If you've been putting your life on hold until you're finally good enough, this one is going to challenge everything you've been waiting for.

Today's shift: Identify one thing you've been withholding from yourself until you feel worthy enough — and give it to yourself today anyway.

Daily Shift 181: Where the belief that you're not enough actually came from Jul 02, 2026
    Show notes

Nobody is born believing they're not enough. That belief gets installed — through childhood experiences, through the messages we received from caregivers, through systems and cultures that told us our value was conditional. In today's episode, Celeste traces the not enough belief back to its origin — because understanding where it came from is what finally gives you the power to stop letting it run your life.

If you've been carrying a not enough belief for so long it feels like the truth, this one is going to show you where it actually came from.

Today's shift: Trace your not enough belief back to its earliest memory — where did you first learn that who you are wasn't quite right?

Daily Shift 180: You are not what you produce Jul 02, 2026
    Show notes

In a world that measures people by their output — their hustle, their achievements, their productivity — it's easy to start believing that your worth is tied to what you do. But you are not your job title. You are not your income. You are not your to-do list or your accomplishments or how much you got done today. In today's episode, Celeste challenges one of the most pervasive lies of modern culture — that your value as a human being is determined by your productivity.

If you've ever felt worthless on a slow day or guilty for resting, this one is going to hit.

Today's shift: Do one thing today that has no productive output — and practice being okay with that.

EP 543 Your Feelings Are Valid. Your Actions Aren't Always. Jun 30, 2026
    Show notes

Your feelings are valid. All of them — the anger, the hurt, the jealousy, the grief, the fear. You don't have to earn the right to feel what you feel. But somewhere along the way, emotional validation got confused with emotional permission — and Celeste is breaking that down today.

In this episode she draws a clear line between feelings, which are involuntary and always valid, and actions, which are choices and always carry consequences. This is the conversation that takes emotional intelligence from awareness into accountability.

    Topics covered:

    • Why emotional validation matters and what it actually means
    • How "my feelings are valid" became a misused concept
    • The difference between explaining behavior and excusing it
    • Why trauma context matters but doesn't eliminate responsibility
    • How the gap between feeling and action is where real growth happens

Daily Shift 179: Your worth was never something you had to earn Jun 25, 2026
    Show notes

Most of us grew up believing — consciously or not — that our worth was conditional. That it had to be earned through performance, achievement, behavior, or how well we took care of everyone around us. In today's episode, Celeste opens up the self worth conversation by challenging that belief at its root. Because the truth is your worth was never something you had to earn. It was always already there. And everything we've been talking about for the last several weeks — the burnout, the grief, the anxiety, the people pleasing — has been living in the gap between who you are and who you believed you had to be to deserve love.

If you've been working your whole life to prove you're enough, this one is where it starts to shift.

Today's shift: Notice one moment today where you're performing for worth instead of simply living from it.
