Are Higher Interest Rates Actually Stimulating The Economy? - E897 - CFC Jul 25, 2024
    Show notes

Ever notice how sometimes the "experts" get it all wrong?

While everyone's been freaking out about high interest rates crushing the economy…

...what if they're actually STIMULATING it instead?

    Sounds crazy, right?

But that's exactly what my latest guest, Douglas Dowell, thinks is happening.

If you want to hear a perspective that'll flip everything you thought you knew about The Fed on its head…

Douglas Dowell is the Chief Investment Officer at Eagle's Flight Equity Group…and has a robust economic background in following trends and how they translate into real estate investing.

He believes that The Fed might actually need to CUT rates to cool down the economy...

In fact, they're essentially running a "reverse stimulus" by paying out high interest on government debt.

That means, they could be the ones keeping inflation higher than it needs to be.

Plus, The Fed's actions might not matter as much as we think…

It's mainly a fiscal story, with government spending being the real driver of the economy.

Douglas has shared many more insights in our today’s podcast that will help you make sense of this bizarre economic landscape we’re in…

…and how it might play out in the future.

From Burnt Out Attorney To $20,000/Month Of Passive Income - E893 - CFC Jul 18, 2024
    Show notes

Do you ever look at your W-2 and wonder if there's a better way?

Even as a successful private equity entrepreneur, it’s easy to find yourself grinding endless hours…leading to massive burnout.

That's exactly where Brian Boyd found himself as a high-powered tax attorney, working 50 out of 52 Saturdays a year.

But he cracked the code to escape...

Using real estate investing and savvy tax strategies, Brian went from burnout to building a portfolio generating $20,000 monthly in passive income.

And in today’s podcast, he's sharing his playbook with us.

If you want to learn how he did that…you CANNOT miss this episode!

Brian's first piece of advice is…

Don't put more money into your W-2 job than you are willing to lose…

In fact, you’re technically an unsecured creditor of your own time and energy.

That means your hard work is not even yours once it's traded for a paycheck.

Plus, it's only a matter of time until real estate professional status becomes mainstream...

The Fed simply cannot ignore the tax benefits forever.

This means they either change the rules or more people will use this strategy.

If you want a ton more insight into creating a passive income stream from real estate, you have to tune in to today's show!

What The Public Markets Tell Us About The Future Of Real Estate - E889 - CFC Jul 11, 2024
    Show notes

Ever notice how the stock market reacts to real estate news before it hits your local market?

While we're busy analyzing cap rates and NOI on individual properties, the public markets are already pricing in future trends.

However, most of us don't have the time or expertise to keep tabs on both private deals and public REITs.

That's why I’m so excited to bring Brad Johnson to today’s episode.

Brad has spent over two decades bridging the gap between public and private real estate investments…

And what he's seeing in the markets right now might surprise you...

Brad is the founder and managing partner of Evergreen Capital, which provides niche investment opportunities for its investor network.

In our conversation, he breaks down:

    • Why the public markets are signaling a bright future for apartments, despite short-term headwinds

    • The surprising asset class that's trading at a meaningful discount (hint: it's not office)

    • Why industrial properties might have the brightest long-term prospects

    • The pros and cons of investing in funds vs. single-asset deals

    • Why most retail investors should think twice before making one-off property investments

Plus, Brad shares his thoughts on the often overlooked "GP stakes" investments and why he believes it might be "the best business model ever created."

If you're trying to navigate the current market and want to pick up trends to see where we’re headed…

You don’t wanna miss out on today’s episode.
