New Jersey is Great, March is Full of Madness Mar 22, 2023

Show notes

This week in virtual podcast land... next week in NYC!!

As the team prepares to meet up in person next week for a HUGE episode 137 celebration, there's still business to be done this week... and with the glorious state of New Jersey dominating the entire world in March roundball, and Penn State winning a game (almost two!), Tyler and Lou have been looking forward to this one!

Prizm Football was released this week. What are the early thoughts, some of the biggest cards pulled, and what are they selling for? A Play of the Week winner is in first place in our bracket pool. That's not a surprise since the POTW group chat is pretty much comprised of nothing but excellence, Max Verstappen's dad is a bad guy, the World Baseball Classic is lit, World Baseball Classic injuries suck.

Courtney is up picking cards for over/under and Jay has said that "this weeks Play of the Week is the best Play of the Week EVER!"

Again.

Top Young Quarterbacks - Overpriced or Underpriced? Jan 25, 2023

Show notes

The boys enter the all-new upgraded studio!! Let us know in the comments what you think of the new layout!

What a week in the NFL playoffs with Joey Brrrr moving on after dismantling the overrated Buffalo Bills and the Uber-overrated Josh Allen (just ask Lou!). The Bengals will face Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game after he battled through a high ankle sprain to get past Trevor Lawrence and the Jags.

In the NFC, Jalen Hurts and Brock Purdy will square off with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. Can Purdy single handedly save the 2022 NFL rookie card market and advance?

Also this week, we break down the top 7 young quarterbacks and the prices of their PSA 10 Contenders rookie ticket autos to determine if they are overvalued or undervalued. Feel free to chime in with your opinions in the comments. Lou thinks that Travis Kelce might be the best tight end of all-time. A Tiger Woods SP Authentic auto sold for big money in the January PWCC Premier Auction, and there were some other really cool hobby moments on social media this week.

Tune in for all of this PLUS another amazing Play of the Week!
