I Got 1 Million Followers on Instagram - Here's How - 925 Oct 12, 2026

In today’s episode, Brock Johnson is breaking down the plan he used to reach 1 million followers on Instagram. It starts with posting three kinds of content: shareworthy posts built with my SHARE checklist (Simple, strong Hook, Authentic, Relatable, Entertaining), posts with DM automation, and more carousels, since they beat Reels on engagement and far fewer people post them. Every week, the DM automation posts promote four things: my personal email list (the R.E.P.O.R.T.), the business email list through a freebie, the $7 two-week trial, and the podcast and YouTube channel.

Brock also covers the volume and systems behind it: five trial Reels a day scheduled in Metricool, expecting most to flop and swinging anyway, plus five feed posts a day. In 2025 he went from about 2.5 to 4 posts a day and grew from roughly 20K to 65K followers per half-year. To keep that pace without burning out, Brock built systems in Dropbox and Google Drive, upcycle every evergreen post at least three times 90+ days apart, and batch and schedule months ahead, with seasonal posts up to a year out. He closes with one collab post a week, where he offered to do most of the work like Marketing Harry does, and the symbiotic relationship between YouTube, the podcast, and Instagram, where each one feeds followers to the other.

This NEW Trial Reels Hack Will Make You Go Viral on Instagram - 924 Oct 08, 2026

In today's episode, Brock Johnson is breaking down a new Trial Reels hack I'm calling the Triple Double Method that's helping accounts go viral repeatedly off a single piece of content. The idea starts simple: post a Trial Reel, then post the normal Reel version, then post a mirrored Trial Reel with a few key changes, zooming in the video, speeding it up, re-editing the hook, changing the on-screen text, and adding a non-Instagram filter or color change. From there, you repost that same content again at the 90-day mark and again at 180 days, turning one video into five separate uploads.

Brock also covers the second version of the method, where instead of one video, you create three different hook variations shot on two cameras, giving you six total videos, and when you mirror each one using the same edit changes, that turns into twelve Trial Reels from a single piece of original content. This is a way to squeeze significantly more testing and reach out of the content you're already creating without having to constantly produce something new.

NEW Instagram Algorithm: How To Go Viral And Get Followers - 923 Oct 05, 2026

In today's episode, Brock Johnson breaks down what's changed with the Instagram algorithm right now and how it's heavily weighting retention. He walks through the three-part funnel: skip rate is the bouncer that decides whether you get into the club at all, retention is what separates average content from great content, and share rate is what gets you into the VIP section. Understanding where you're losing people in that funnel tells you exactly what to fix.

Brock also covers Instagram's crackdown on AI content and how the pendulum has swung both on the platform side and on the audience side, why flashing text on screen is getting penalized, and why using outside editing apps isn't. He gets into the crackdown on duplicate trial Reels, why carousels are performing exceptionally well right now, and one specific data point: carousels are getting 89% better performance, or roughly 1.9x the views, compared to other formats.

I Post 163 Times Per Week...With No Help - 918 Sep 10, 2026

In today's episode, Brock Johnson breaks down how I post 163 times per week across nine platforms without a full production team behind me. TMYP, TMYG. He shares the real context first: a business team, one content hire brought on in the last month, no designer used in nearly three years, and no kids. Instagram alone accounts for about 75 pieces of content per week, and he hasn’t missed a day of posting since March 28th, 2021, a streak that hits 2,000 days on September 18th, 2026. That consistency is generating roughly 20 million views per month.

Brock walks through the five systems that make this possible: an organization system built on automatically sorted cloud storage and Google Sheets tracking, a planning system for gathering and acting on inspiration, a creation system that keeps filming separate from editing and planning, a scheduling system where every post gets scheduled five separate times across different windows, and a tracking system that closes the loop. Before any of that, he shares the one prerequisite: if you don't already have at least a daily post scheduled for the next 14 days, stop posting and start creating.

In today's episode, Brock Johnson breaks down how to beat the new Instagram Reels Jail and why skip rate is the baseline metric you need to understand first. He covers why likes aren't something to obsess over, since they mostly come from followers, most accounts have a relatively low follower count, and every non-follower viewing your content is technically a stranger, plus higher views usually bring more likes anyway. The real focus is shares, which represent views from non-followers and show up as sends per reach. He gives the basic tip of directly asking for the share, but pairing that ask with a clear reason why or a specific person to send it to.

Brock also walks through the SHARE method, simple, hook, authentic, relatable, entertaining, as a framework for building shareable content, and the TRIBE framework for what actually makes something shareworthy: timely content tied to breaking news or trends, relatable content that makes people feel seen, inspiring content that motivates, beckoning content that calls on the community to act, and edgy content built around hot takes or unpopular opinions.
