But will it be Houston who bestows a gift upon Buckeye Nation?

Yes, the day is finally here. Houston, the Buford (Ga.) native, will announce his college destination later today at his high school. Given Ohio State's struggle to add elite defensive ends recently, Houston's recruitment has taken on added intrigue.

* What is the latest on coveted 2024 recruits Brandon Baker and Eddrick Houston?

* The Buckeyes named just three captains for this season: Tommy Eichenberg, Xavier Johnson and Cade Stover. We like the less-is-more philosophy here.

All of that and more is coming your way on the Monday 5ish.
