Ohio State National Signing Day recap: Potential early starters, some costly misses, and the state of OSU recruiting Dec 22, 2022

On this Thursday Buckeye Talk from cleveland.com, Doug Lesmerises, Stephen Means and Nathan Baird react to Ohio State's 2023 signing class, which the Buckeyes locked in Wednesday. By average star rating, it is the No. 3 class in the 247sports.com composite rankings. Nineteen players signed, with the Buckeyes waiting on one more committed player they were expecting to land.

To start off, the guys look at Ohio State's class ranking overall nationally, and then they dive into the 10 offensive players who signed with the Buckeyes.

Then (56:10) it's to the other side of the ball and the nine players (and one more they were waiting on) for on defense.

In the final segment (1:17:01) they look at the highly-rated recruits the Buckeyes went after and didn't sign, and discuss the effect of NIL on the class and how things might look for Ohio State recruiting in the future.
